The severed head of the lead Mexican investigator in the Falcon Lake case was delivered Tuesday in a suitcase to the Mexican military, Texas Rep. Aaron Pena told CNN.

However, a spokesman for the attorney general of Tamaulipas state in Mexico said he had not heard the report.

David Michael Hartley went missing September 30.

Maybe a US military incursion into Mexico in order to defend US citizens along the border would bring some progress to this crisis.

Confirmed.

The decapitated body of a Mexican investigator looking into the reported shooting death of a Colorado man by pirates on Falcon Lake in Texas was turned over to the Mexican Army Tuesday.

ABC affiliate KRVG interviewed Texas Representative Aaron Pena who confirmed the report.

Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez Jr. told KRVG THAT Rolando Armando Flores Villegas, a homicide investigator for the Procuraduria de Tamaulipas, was killed. Gonzalez said the body was delivered in a suitcase with no note.

Ruben Rios, spokesman for the Tamaulipas state prosecutor’s office, confirmed that Commander Flores was the head of state investigators in the border city of Ciudad Miguel Aleman. The city is about 5 miles downstream from Falcon Lake.

Villegas had delivered documents to a KRVG photographer over the weekend in Reynosa, Mexico. He also provided the photographer with information about two Mexican brothers, alleged Zeta cartel members, suspected of involvement in the alleged murder of David Hartley. Villegas said Juan Pedro and Jose Manuel Saldivar Farias are suspected members of the Zeta drug cartel, wanted criminals, and members of a pirate gang that has been terrorizing boaters on Falcon lake and residents of a nearby Mexican town.

Flores directed the initial hunt for Hartley.[snip]

“Maybe a US military incursion into Mexico in order to defend US citizens along the border would bring some progress to this crisis.”

We have military personnel from the defense department in Mexico..to PROTECT MEXICO from our guns coming over the border, at their request.

This government has NO intention of doing anything to protect you and I.

“the PROBLEM is MEXICO!”

With all due respect, NO!!!!

They knew better than to go there. No one pushed them to go.

There is something huge to this story which hasn’t unfolded yet.

The most important word in the English language is “no.”

No, don’t put you hand on the hot stove.

No, don’t go to Mexico.

My sister lives near Calexico and recently asked that we come down for a visit. I told her absolutely no way was I going anywhere near the sh!thole known as Mexico; if she wanted to see us she’d have to come to Northern CA.

And this is why the Mexican authorities would not go searching at night.

Such a tragic mess. And way too close to home.

“No, don’t go to Mexico.”

I was convinced of that long ago. Problem is there are MANY, including Freepers and government hacks who declare ‘there is NO problem in Mexico’.

So, the Hartleys were stupid. If a death sentence is price for being stupid, 2/3rds of voters would be DEAD.

When it hits their home, they’ll care. It’ll be too late by then.

The border needs a militarized Counter Insurgency Air Element to deal with what is now happening, and what I foresaw 30 years ago when these "incidents" started happening on the border in Arizona.

A coordinated mixture of A-10's (not a lot), a wing worth of OV-10A's (highly successful FAC & COIN a/c in Vietnam), and several air wings of Cobra gun ships and Blackhawk forward attack helicopters.

The situation has deteriorated to that. And these air wings should be associated with at least a division worth of Ranger level troops, and SF units capable of being rapidly moved into hot areas - and any smuggling operation should be considered "hot".

At this point, the only people doing this will be the States. The Federal government is being restrained by the traitors that are the Obama administration.

I agree. Protecting our borders it seems is not a high priority for this regime.
