Police State USA
Baby snatched for dad's politics back with parents reunited!
Newborn returned to family where father accused of being 'Oath Keeper'

A tiny baby girl snatched from her parents' custody a week ago when her father was accused of being an "Oath Keeper" was returned to her parents today.

According to WND sources close to the case, the accusations against the father, Johnathon Irish, whose fiancée, Stephanie Taylor, is the mother of Cheyenne, have been dropped.

WND originally reported on the case last weekend when the state took the baby, ordering the father to stand with his hands behind his back and frisking him while social workers took the child. The affidavit supporting the actions cited the father's affiliation with the patriotic organization Oath Keepers.

Irish, reached today by telephone by WND, said New Hampshire state law prevents disclosure of details of family court disputes. But the WND source confirmed that the little girl had been returned to the family and there were no future court dates scheduled in the case.

Officials with the state Family Court system could not be reached by WND.

Just hours earlier a protest was held outside the court where the hearing was going on, and as WND reported, officials with Oath Keepers submitted a demand letter to the state's social services agency to remove the reference in the affidavit in the Irish case.

The organization collects affirmations from soldiers and peace officers that they would refuse orders that violate the U.S. Constitution in light of what they perceive as the advance of socialism in the U.S.

Buy her a ring, get down on a knee, tell her that there will never ever be another woman besides her. She will say yes.
Get married this weekend for God’s sake, for your sake, for her sake, for your child’s sake. Make it right man. Do it!

What happen to the frantic reports of the baby bleeding about her nether regions and having to be hospitalized?

“Man (Oathkeeper)+ woman (fiancee)= baby. Does not compute.
Not by the Book.”

According to news articles I’ve seen, the man once posted(literally, apparently) on the Oath Keepers site, the “fiancee” is still married to someone else, and the man himself is by all reports not a nice or good person.

There were allegations of child abuse, and the association with Oath Keepers, and his possession of firearms, as reasons for taking the child. If substantiated, the first is adequate reason for separating them, but the latter two reasons had no business on the affidavits accepted by the court. That is apparently what they are acknowledging by releasing the child back to her parents.

“Does not compute.” FRiend, you SO have that right! In so very many different ways!

Thanks for the update. Regardless of what liberal/socialist say there is a right and a wrong. God made the rules our choice is to live by them or ignore them and pay the price.

I have to self-ping this for posterity. It's practical, action-oriented, down-to-earth, and probably the most romantic thing I've ever read on FR! If my man said this to me, I would follow him to the ends of the earth. (Make that, "If he says this to me, I will follow him. . . ."

Please don’t forget adoption as a possibility.

Please don’t misunderstand, abortion would never be an option, and I would be proud to be the father of this woman’s children.

She’s already got the ring. We’re in the planning stages for a wedding, but we’re waiting until I’m done with my Master’s degree next April. We’ll be full bore on the wedding plans thereafter, I can assure you.

There was more backstory than that. It wasn't just the OK thing.

Nothing proven in court though.

Say a prayer for all involved.

The loaded gun you are playing with is a lifetime of regret when/if you get married and can’t get pregnant.

Every day you wait decreases the chance of a pregnancy. There have been many broken hearts because people have waited for just the *right* time.

If you are not convinced, just look at the graph that plots fertility by age. Look at it plunge in the 30’s and 40’s.

From what I read, there were allegations of domestic violence, not a history of proof. The standard for the assumption of domestic violence/child abuse is so thin that it is a common opening salvo in divorce cases--it gets the husband restrained from his own house by court order on mere say-so.

Those allegations need not be supported by physical evidence and the accuser's name is withheld from the accused unless the matter is taken to court (prohibitively expensive for many--especially if their bank accounts have been drained by their ex-to-be and they have been denied access to their domicile and items of value). The standard CPS approach often includes a host of unsubstantiated claims and hyperbole which make the accused out to be a monster. The standards are so vague that virtually anyone can be accused.

Considering his fiance is trying to divorce her (technically, husband) and there are two other children involved, it might have been beneficial for the ex-hubby to be if he could get the couple branded as abusers to keep from having to pay her support if she was awarded the children from that union. All it takes is an anonymous call...

I'm not saying that is what happened, but that is one possible scenario.

>> I’m going to hold out until marriage, but since we don’t use contraception, we understand that we’re “playing with a loaded gun,” so to say.<<

You’re going to hold out? Why the he!! would you have to use contraceptives if you are going to hold out?

That was funny!
