“Bill clinton would have applointed a blue ribbon committee.
Obama would have appointed a czar.
The MSM would have blambed bush.
pelosi would be saying how the accident created jobs.
reid would say we need healthcare reform again.
Bank of America would forclose on the vans chrysler loan saying they owned the loan all along.
Code Pink would blame the military.
The homosexual groups would condemn the fact a homosexual was not driving the rescue vehicle and blam DADT.
A judge would retroactivly demand the accident be undone.
Michael Steel would still be nowhere to be seen.
MSNBC would be blaming global warming.
The NYT will not cover the story.
CNN would only rescue the driver if he was a leftist.”
Clever and complete... and mostly true, unfortunately.
Great story although nowadays i’m surprised the hero wasn’t charged with something.
We have lots of first-class people like Duane Innes in this country.
They just haven’t been running the place for the past 20 years.
the mst3k movie “Riding with Death” had a similar situation,
except Ben Murphy wasn’t slumped over anything. That would not have been mellow...
I noticed that, too. But, per FR rules, I didn't change the article title.
To be fair, they were his grown children.
Either you're joking, which means you have a sick sense of humor.
Or you're serious, and support the wanton murder of innocent children, which means you're just sick.
hero ping
You have a tin ear for irony, which is a classic sign of someone whose wealth of knowledge and experience are either middling or below middling.
When someone tells me that a person has a right to play fast-and-loose with the lives of his children, or indeed that anyone has a right to play fast-and-loose with the life of any human being, I think it logical to assume that his moral philosophies tend in the same direction as those who maintain that a woman's offspring is her property to do with as she pleases. That's the crux of my remark. If this sounds abusive, please forgive me, but it's no more abusive than than the peurile, ill-considered remarks that you and others have directed toward me.
You look cool in those shades.
The self-infatuation of engineers is unfailing. They almost make lawyers look like normal people in comparison.
That has been my experience, bless their hearts. And the biggest culprits are the managerial types who don't really do any engineering, per se.
If my experience is considered middling because I had not met a person willing to use the slaugther of babies as humor or to make a point, then I am content in my innocence.
