Small correction: Marine One is the designation for any Marine Corps aircraft that is carrying the President. Rotary wing or fixed wing.

So if the President hops a ride aboard a USMC F/A-18D or EA-6B ... or more likely (but still pretty unlikely) one of their Cessna Citation bizjet (see pic below), that aircraft bears the "Marine One" designation.

Yup. Living in DC I've seen the HMX-1 fleet of VH-3s and VH-60s on a number of occasions, including transporting POTUS to/from the White House (from the Washington Monument grounds). They are seriously tricked-out and definitely have ALL the bells/whistles.

I tracked him on my website wherezobama.com until it went past 150K miles. He has flown at least another 100k.

The cost is a lot! I extrapolated and get way more than a billion$$$$$

It doesnt have the flight time for Marine One going to Camp[ david and to Golf courses. Add in a flight home every weekend for Nancy Pelosi on her private jet. and how many others in the Congress are using Air Force planes.

Technically, yes. However, Obama would have to get seat qualified to get a hop on a Delta Hornet - which the SS wouldn't let him fly aboard, or a Prowler and considering his physical frailties, that would be highly unlikely. I doubt he'd slum it on a UC-35 either.
