More Media Shenanigans: Delaware TV Station 'Forgets' to Broadcast O'Donnell 30 Minute Ads
Monday, November 1, 2010 | Kristinn

Posted on 11/01/2010 7:40:03 AM PDT by kristinn

The Christine O'Donnell campaign bought three thirty minute blocks of time on Delaware TV channel 28 to broadcast an infomercial on her candidacy the last two days before Tuesday's election.

Last night's scheduled 11:30 broadcast failed to happen. This morning, the scheduled 10:00 broadcast also failed to happen.

The O'Donnell campaign just Tweeted about the incidents:

This isn't our show either! We are told channel 28 "forgot" to air it...both times... even though we paid for the time slot last week.
4 minutes ago via txt

The infomercial, entitled We the People, was posted this morning to O'Donnell's campaign website and can be viewed here.

The next scheduled broadcast is for 3:00 p.m. today.

I believe that the station owes C.O. twice what she paid due
to some law or agreement with reference to Station owners and political ads that they may fail to air at a given time.

That’s the real issue.

They should refund her what she already paid.

Certain accounts can run as long as needed. Interesting tie over to some other very different videos.

I’m an ex-broadcaster also. This is as deliberate as it comes.

Double isn't nearly enough.

Breach of contract, failure to provide agreed services in a timely manner.

Biblically a thief is supposed to pay back three times what was taken;this station effectively stole her campaign money.

Jim

I live in California. I voted last week for Whitman and Fiorina. I did my part.

I just struggle with what we did in Delware and potentially in Nevada, though I hope Sharon can hold Reid and the unions off.

As much as I dislike Castle, O’Donnell is a complete joke and could have meant the Senate. That’s a shame in so many ways.

I’d rather have a RINO Castle in a bright blue state that votes with us 50% of the time than a liberal Senator in that same state that votes with us 0% of the time.

Got news for you. The primary is over RINO. Castle LOST!! You effin RINO cowards are idiots!!

This is a CONSERVATIVE site. If you don’t like us promoting and voting FOR conservatives, get the hell off our site!!

RINOs are the not the solution; they are the problem!!

GO, Christine, GO!!

The problem with 50/50 RINOs is that they'll vote conservative on the minors and liberal on the major stuff. No thanks. Better the enemy you know than the "friend" waiting to stab you in the back in the name of one-sided bipartisanship.

Jim

I’m not a RINO...hell, I’m not even a Republican. I’m an independent conservative with a strong libertarian bent. I knew O’Donnell would get crushed, which of course she did tonight.

Next time Obama nominates a liberal justice of SCOTUS, etc and we lose by a vote or two, ask me then why a RINO is better than a full throated liberal.

Don’t get me wrong, I would rather have a conservative 24/7/365 but in certain states, that’s impossible.

If we lose Nevada, also, we BLEW what could have been the best night possibly ever.

OK, but how is that worse than losing 100% of the time to the liberal on those positions?

Don’t get me wrong, I want the conservative to win, but in certain states that isn’t possible so you take what you can get.

By the way Jim, do you talk to all of your donors that way? I respect your site and have been a member here for many years and have donated periodically to help you pay for the site. Maybe you were just caught up in the moment, but I don’t appreciate you telling me to get the hell off this site.

That’s part of the problem, too, you know. The level of discourse is terrible in this country and if we go out and act like you just did, the electorate will throw power right back to the Democrats in 2012.

It’s not about the money. If you’re going to bad mouth our constitutional conservative candidates, then there’s no reason for you to be here. This site is here to restore the constitution by promoting and electing constitutional conservatives. All others can take a hike!

At least with the liberal, you aren't on pins and needles wondering, "Will Mr. liberal vote the right way?!" Most people prefer to deal with people who are consistent, even if they're consistently wrong. RINOs aren't consistent and no one likes inconsistency.

Jim, you can’t be so blind as to support everyone. O’Donnell was a complete whack job and so was Angle.

We had both states locked up. What’s really sad is in Nevada we didn’t even have to run a RINO to win, just someone...SANE!!

I’m all for Constitutional Conservativism, but I’m even more for WINNING. In states that are deep blue, there is ZERO chance of putting a strict conservative in office so better to have a RINO than a 100% liberal. Period.

Sometimes you guys want to win the battles but never the war and the big picture is lost.

Oh well, what could have been. Sad. Now we get Reid for 6 more years. We blew it there, no other way to state it. We blew it there!!

You got your Kirk. You got your Murkowski. You got your McCain. You didn’t get that puke Castle. So sad for you. Quit dancing on the graves of good people.

Luke...why do you say “I got”. I’m not from Illinois or Arizona or Alaska. Aren’t we all major backers of STATES rights? The voters in those states chose THEIR representatives.

Now, for the record, I wanted Miller in Alaska and can’t stand Murkowski. Alaska is a very red state and we should have a CONSERVATIVE in office there, not that hack Lisa.

In Illinois, I’ll take a RINO Kirk over a 100% liberal and criminal then the Democrat. Illinois is a blue state, so you take what you can get.

McCain....don’t get me started. I would have loved Kyl or someone else other than McLame. But, on most issues, McLame is still going to be on our side...especially with the military.

I’m not dancing on the graves of good people. I don’t understand when our strategy is Conservative, Conservative, Conservative when in some states that means instant loss. What good does that do?

I would say Conservative, Conservative, Conservative in red states but do everything you can not to give up on the blue states by putting someone in there that has ZERO shot to win. All you’re doing is continuing to give liberals power when we do this. Do you want that?
