Gwinnett country, GA. Stron GOP district.

Got to poll at 7 AM just as voting was starting (which is when I usually vote). Line was already around the corner of the building. Longest line I’ve ever seen at this polling place this time of day (including presidential election years.)

Bottom line: not just heavy, but probably record turnout for this polling place.

Both scanners that scanned the encoded info on the back of driver’s licenses for identify verification was broken, so the verification info was being inupt manually.

That and the electronic voting machines that produce no paper or audit trail for the voter suddenly gave me a bad feeling.

We have the same “finish the arrow with a pencil” system and scanners in my small town.

Polls opened at 7:00 am, I was there at 7:15 and I was number 34 by the scanner. No problems with the scanner feeding and accepting my ballot. My wife was slower than me (she actually read the ballot; I just looked for the Republicans to vote for)—she was number 49. Voting volume was brisk, but not unusually so for my town (where people vote a lot more regularly than other places).

Voted VA-8 about 6:30. Very light, which is hopeful as this is the very blue Jim Moran district. Poll watchers were VERY good; had to produce photo ID, state my address, etc. Saw on the list that wife and I were the only ones listed at my address.

Cast my vote to retire Moran - for probably the 10th time.

VOTE FOR LAZAMATAZ!!!

Can't. Too much chance of a nasty sex scandal. But good luck with that, if you do get elected!

Going out to vote with my 6 year old daughter. Might as well teach her what “straight party republican” means.

TSUNAMI WARNING ACROSS THE UNITED STATES TODAY.

Americans across the nation are dumping tea into harbors, lakes, rivers, streams, creeks, ponds, and on farm fields in protest of the fascist Obama Regime's agenda.

Florida should have a handle on fraud.

Democrats may never win there again.

I’m next to you in Seminole County- we do it the same way and we put our ballot directly into the machine. If they ever change it I’ll move to over to Volusia!

National Review has a good twitter feed up. A GOP operative says Carly is neck and neck with Boxer...Whitman not so much.

I early voted on Friday last week (the last day in which to do so here in Houston Texas). It was PACKED like I have never seen it. There were approx 250-300 people waiting to vote. I stood in line for 2 hours before I got to vote. No one was leaving the lines either. Everyone stayed to vote!
