DemRats acting like death row inmate who just got 90 day stay

Excuse the vanity please.

The Rats remind of a death row inmate who gets a 3 month stay as he's walking to the gas chamber. You can tell they fully expected to lose the Senate and maybe 80 seats or more in the House. They were scared.

In a few days they'll again begin to realize their dire plight.

“Better than expected” has been their motto for some time now.

What I’m wondering is, are all those dems who threw their legislative careers away for the great “O” and the leadership going to get their payoff after January 2?

I’ve been assuming that they were all personally assured that the Big Wheels from Soros and Jeff Immelt on down would see them “set for life”.

The Obama agenda to destroy this country has been derailed (for now). What will happen during the upcoming lame duck session? We must be on guard.

I don’t agree....they played their hand very close to the vest. They knew the House was gone and their only hope was the Senate. The have game when it comes to “producing” vote totals. There was aways a bit of smug in their actions all along....

It's WAY worse than they realize.

By taking over multiple governorships and state houses, the republicans have just developed a "Farm System" where up and coming stars can develop legislative and leadership qualities. Mark my words: someone elected last night in this wave will be on the national ticket in 2016, 2020 or 2024.

Plus, redistricting will be huge, and the Dem governors are in states that will be losing seats, not gaining.

When the half and half won, didn't they want Bush to go away right then and let him start early? Am I remembering that right? If so, then I am asking the loser dimocrats the same question right now. WHY DON'T YOU GO AWAY RIGHT NOW AND LET THE WINNING REPUBLICANS TAKE OVER NOW SO THAT THEY CAN GET TO WORK TRYING TO CORRECT THE STUPIDITY OF YOUR TWO YEARS OF THE DIMOCRAT ECONOMIC DISTASTER.

Good post—gives me some “hope”. I’ve come to hate that word, but can’t think of anything better.

Obama needed to minimize the Democrat Party so when he grabs total power there will be less people that he needs to keep in line.

Meanwhile the more Republicans the better to line them up in front of the machineguns.

I agree. I would not be surprised at anything they try to pull. What do they have to lose?

Anyone have a link to a list of House, Senate, and Governors with an expiration date of 2012?

EXCUSE ME? I need to correct you in that the DEMS HAD THE CONGRESS FOR 4 LOUSY YEARS - NOW GO BACK TO 2007 AND SEE HOW FAR THE DROP HAS BEEN ECONOMICALLY - DON’T LET THE MEDIA AND LIBERALS GET OFF FOR WHAT THEY DID TO OUR ECONOMY...

I am personally convinced that numerous media types purposely inflated their expectations of Republican victories in the final days up to the election, with just this scenario in mind.

It wasn’t that they really expected Republicans to win that big — and they certainly did not hope they would. What they did want, and did to some degree succeed in doing, is set the losing side up for a “it wasn’t as bad as it could have been” narrative and give them enough ammunition to say “your victory is not large enough for you to claim a mandate”.

Horse$hi+! There is no way to define where a mandate begins anyhow, so I am not going to worry about it. What matters is we will have the power to halt Obama’s headlong plunge into socialism. That’s enough for now.

There are positives about us not winning the senate.

1) It will be harder to have the media and Obama to blame the republicans for all things wrong with gov’t (like Clinton was able to do).

2) There won’t be a lame duck session that passes all kinds of liberal crap. There are too many senators up for election in 2012 and Harry Reid wants to keep the senate in 2012. If he had lost and the senate was lost they would be more likely to take advantage of a lame duck session.

"DemRats acting like death row inmate who just got 90 day stay"

They might have gotten a 90 day stay, but the Republicans are on STRICT probation. They don't know it yet, but as soon as the glitter from being elected clears their eyes, they'll see those "wonderful voters" who put them there, have turned into strict Probation Officers, who will be checking, and often...daily in fact.

The GOP is getting a freebie "do over" and the TPM is getting a test. Will all the rhetoric of the past few months turn out to be teleprompTer trash, or do they really mean they've grown a set and will stand up to the dems?

Obama and Harry Reid have already issued them implied orders who what they will be voting on and how much they had better compromise on healthcare. Do ya reckon they're scared yet?

At some point, America's government has GOT to rise up above the same ol, same ol, way of screwing the American people. Both sides spends hours of air and print time telling us "what the people want"...well, it can't be the same people. To the left, a crowd of more than one person, is "the people". To the right, the Constitution is "the people.".

Meanwhile, the real "people" sit out here in flyover country and watch this bunch of koolaid pushers have a fight with nerf balls while we're paying for it all.

One thing is for sure, we can't turn this government over to any bunch of electeds, and then we go back to our busienss as usual.

Both parties have shown that they do NOT walk their talk, and that they cannot be trusted without oversight. I propose a subset of the TPM called the COP...Citizens Oversight Patrol, whose function it will be to monitor the government and blow the whistle when they start trampling the Constitution and/or our American Security and traditions.

Hell, I may start it myself.

Those boys and girls on the hill need supervision...not for the mechanics of their jobs so much, but for the honesty and integrity of it. Their deportment is deplorable.

Well said. This election wasn't a one-shot deal, it was a sea change, a turning of the ocean currents in the opposite direction. The movement will now just continue to grow and grow, because deathcare still has to be repealed and the presidential elections are coming up again. The momentum needed to do that must be built upon what has just happened, and then after that it will be so big that it will flood out into the hardest blue areas and wipe them out as well.

Hillary losing the Rat nomination was the terminal crack, but now through Obama stimulating the TEA Party movement the Leftist dam has FINALLY burst.

(P.S. Who says a sea change can't burst a dam? I own the metaphors, they don't own me).

On the other hand, if conservatives call for defaulting on the federal debt or try to abolish the Federal Reserve or some other wacky Ron Paul idea, they will also be clearly and soundly rejected.

I’m happy for the rest of the country but I am still very bitter because I am from NY. I also noticed what happened in CT. It was a disaster during the best time for the GOP in years.

And the DEM’S farm team personally recruited by Emanuel was thoroughly decimated last night.

In 18 short months Obama has reversed all the work Emanuel did in the past 10 years. Emanuel saw it coming and couldn’t bear to be there to see his achievement destroyed.

It will take another decade to rebuild and while DEMS are recruiting and rebuilding, the GOP can be mentoring and promoting its brightest stars.
