RINOs behind defeat of Tea Party candidates (Vanity)

Posted on 11/04/2010 9:18:47 AM PDT by JimWayne

Don't blame the Democrats for the defeat of Christine O'Doneell and Sharon Angle. The RINOs have worked hard and worked WITH the Dims to make sure that the Tea Party candidates would not win.

In Delaware, it was Karl Rove who opposed O'Donnell. In Nevada, it was a state level RINO who supported the Democrat. In Alaska, RINOs have done everything to prevent Joe Miller from winning. You can be sure that Ken Buck must have been done in by RINOs like Karl Rove.

A suggestion to hit back at them - deny RINOs the right to post on FR. If anyone brings up the claim that it is better to support a "winnable" anti-life and pro-spending candidate instead of a Tea Party candidate, how about showing zero tolerance and kicking them out instantly even if they have been around for 10 years. Surely, GOP officials use FR to their benefit. Why not pay back in their own coin? If they don't support us, why should we support them?

I saw many interviews and never came away with the impression she was a spoiled child. Would you post an interview or a transcript in which she appeared this way? Thanks.

Here's kind of a crazy idea I've been kicking around...

How about we let Jim and his Mods decide who stays and who earns a Ban Hammer?

Reagan is exempt from any RINO comparisons so it doesn’t count.

FR is a popular site but by and large we aren’t the political powerhouse some would think we are.

Yup, FR is nothing more than a glorified chat room with no effect on politics.

Yes, giving your opinion before the election that Christine is awful is something that should get you at least suspended, or warned.

If you can explain how it helps Christine get elected to call her awful, I might understand. Christine is Conservative.

And I don’t think she’s awful at all. I think she’s great. I like outsiders, instead of lifetime politicians. Lifetime politicians got us into this mess.

I do think it’s worse to badmouth a candidate before the election than after, however.

Hey, don’t blame me.

Rush was tagged a RINO because he had Elton at his wedding, and Coulter is a RINO because she addressed the homo convention.

(You can generally consider RINO the same as “not conservative”).

I vote no. Intolerance to the slightest dissent is the road to disaster.

People who openly insult Conservatives before the election here on FR should be banned. There was a lot of nasty stuff said about Christine here on FR. Those people should go.

I will fight for the death for your right to say what you’re saying.

But I’m done listening. It has no merit, cuts no ice, and smacks as solidly of totalitarianism as anything the PC crowd ever said.

No need to reply. I’m off “your” thread.

Podhoretz, Frum, Gerson, Brooks, Kristol, Krauthammer, Perino, Rove are all enemies of Conservatives.

Over the course of years, that has not been the case. But currently, not a powerhouse.

See Rathergate for what FR has done.

It is conventional wisdom here on FR that Podhoretz, Frum, Gerson, Brooks, Kristol, Krauthammer, Perino, Rove are the enemy. They need to be gone from the Republican Party. Those right there are the enemies.

They can work for the RINOs who the Tea Party Conservatives beat, they can work for the 3rd party that they’ll have to form because we don’t want them around the Republican Party any more.

“O’Donnell was simply an awful candidate. She came off like a spoiled child more often than not. Throw that into the reality that she was in a Blue State and that is why she lost.”

Bingo. Weak candidate who already lost prior races and has not a lot of political experience and is running in a deep blue state. People should quit whining about Republican nay-sayers, who were in the end only injecting some realistic skepticism. No, they didnt help her, but Rove’s comments made zero difference in the ultimate outcome.

Instead of berating those who didn’t do exactly what we wanted, and dwelling on our losses, let’s celebrate our huge gains and FOCUS ON GETTING THE REPUBLICANS WHO DID WIN TO BE SUPPORTED AND SPINE-FILLED TO DO THE RIGHT THING!

+1. This effort to blame every setback on RINO perfidy or Democrat election fraud is childish. People on here need to grow up.

I wanted everyone to spend their time working on the races that they cared about, supporting the candidates that they liked. But that didn’t happen. There were a lot of freepers who spent a lot of time tearing down Christine instead of doing something helpful for the candidates that they could support.

Apparently you think that’s ok.

Mormonism is a cult. Romney is a cultist. Sound good to you? Christine dabbled in witchcraft, but Romney is still a cultist. Sound good. I used to think that supporting a candidate is the way to go. Others think it ok to just rip and tear at people who are threatening. I guess I’ll try that. I need to hear about that weird underwear those cultists wear. Thanks for approving of the ripping down strategy.
