Liberals worry GOP will attempt to impeach Obama

With the House now firmly in Republican hands, some on the left have and are voicing concerns that the GOP will attempt to impeach President Barack Obama.

While liberals, such as MSNBC’s Ed Schultz, the New Republic’s Jonathan Chait, and various bloggers wring their hands over the sinister hypothetical, the Republican leadership is denying that they have even considered the possibility.

“Liberal commentators are simply making things up,” Republican leader John Boehner’s spokesman Michael Steel told The Daily Caller. “We have no plans to [impeach] the President. Our plan is to listen to the American people, who want us to stop the tax hikes, cut spending, repeal and replace ObamaCare, and help create jobs.”

Do a majority of US citizens wonder whether he is Constitutionally eligible to be President? If so, that needs to be put to rest through investigation. He obviously was not vetted when running for office. That needs to take place..The truth will set us free.

Priority 1: Defund his programs, starve his agencies like EPA and HHS.

Priority 2: Put forward a budget and vigorously defend it. That must include _no bailouts_ no matter who is whining and crying.

Priority 3: Vigorously attack the lefty major media using the house floor (CSPAN), Foxnews, Internet and talk radio outlets. The vast majority of the public hates their pathetic bias and propaganda. Put away the kneepads and get out the baseball bats.

Priority 87: Investigate administrative misdeeds and follow the trail where it leads.

If Obama has committed impeachable offenses then to avoid impeaching him would not only be unconstitutional but immoral and irresponsible.

I believe his blatant hijacking of the powers and property of the states and of the people in the pursuit of socialism easily comes under “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

But that is not for me to decide—it is the Constitutional duty of my Representative (it ain't Spratt no more ha ha)to introduce the Articles of Impeachment and my Senators' (the GREAT DeMint and butthead Graham)to remove him from office so as to be justly prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I would not think impeaching will apply to Obama since he never qualified to be POTUS in the first place.

It would be better if he was told to resign, doing it for health reasons.

The only other course of action would be if Obama was unable to be POTUS because he was a victim of some sort of orchestrated maneuver to portray him as a hero and martyr. get him out of office but don’t tarnish the name any more as well. The nation mourns or parties the passing of the first ever elected Afro American President, and ten thousand schools change their names honoring him.

In all legality though he should be placed in house arrest and tried for crimes such as the use of a fraudulent SS number, just for starters. No doubt about it, Obama IS above the law, he could commit murder and nobody, I repeat NOBODY will step forward to stop him.

We need to create that somebody.

It is almost always true that healthy and effective corrections come from the inside, from a change within the “enabling” community. Impeachment is never a healthy thing for society and it is most helpful if those closest to the dysfunction take care of the problem.

Honestly, I think there will be calls for impeachment before the 2012 election. You just know the Clintons have a truck load of dirt on him. They get even! BJ did some damage in the lead up to this election, endorsing dems not endorsed by BO, etc.

I don't want an actual impeachment to occur. I want all the dirt, lies, illegal activities, foreign money, treason, and subversion to be fully exposed.
