Gosh, Plugs Biteme says no 'great' inventions succeeded in the lst 200 years without government intervention, and now Barky is being handed credit for 'saving capitalism' after he did his damnedest to destroy it.
The author of this drivel is trying to push his fresh squeezed fertilizer by the boxcar load.

The NYTimes is the house-organ of Keynsian economics, with Krugman as their guru. Keynsians made the same absurd claim about FDR. They are repeating it about Obama because they believe the myth that the New Deal ended the Great Depression, rather than prolonging it. Obama and Bernake’s policies are heading America toward a Japanese-style lost decade.

The only way Obama saved Capitalism is by showing us what the exact opposite looks like.

I think this joker doesn’t know the difference between capitalism and crony capitalism. Of course I wouldn’t expect anyone from the NYT to understand any variety of capitalism.

Perhaps he meant: Obama saved capitalism by losing the midterms!

If I were one of the big corporate donors
If you were a big corporate donor, you'd be in India with the President right now, sucking down umbrella drinks and dodging falling coconuts.

Government interference in the market place to achieve a desired effect is not Capitalism. It is ‘Corporatism’.
As long as we continue to prop up failure with our tax dollars, we will have no success.

Obama gives us socialism wrapped up in a capitalist bow, and Castro is throwing socialism out like garbage. Go figure.

The stock market went up, so Obama saved capitalism.
Simple minds.

President Obama, he effectively saved capitalism. ........................................... Duhhhhhhh, of course he did. NOT! The malls are empty, the stores are closing, restaurants are going out of business and capitalism is saved????? What can I buy that is still made in the USA??? Are we any better off now than we were in 1930’s? Oooops, not many of us are still around who still remember those years (me included). No jobs equals no business, no business equals no Capitalism. I don’t see any new job postings except for those around this time of the year to cover the Christmas shopping months. Wait!! There will be a surge in new jobs! But they won’t last for more than 3 months. They’ll call it an Obama accomplishment for sure.

ROTFLMAO. Oh yeaah baby. Thank Gawd Barry Soetoro looked into his crystal ball and saw that Obamacare and ownership of GM would set his party on track for 40 years of democrat rule just as soon as they get over this little communication glitch and figure out how to spin everything.

"
Perhaps he meant: Obama saved capitalism by losing the midterms!"Bingo!
He saved us all by being so outrageously incompetent, corrupt, and arrogant that he has essentially ensured the long-term demise of progressivism and the demoncrap party. And, he's made it virtually impossible for a community organizer to ever again be considered for the office of President!

Between the Left claiming shadowy conservative foreign corporate donors stole the election, and RINOS claiming the Tea Party lost the Senate, there’s so much spinning going on somebody’s bound to bore into the Earth and strike oil any minute now.
