My New year's Resolution and I'm starting early - today

Posted on 11/10/2010 5:27:43 PM PST by Leaning Right

The instant Karl Rove appears on any Fox show, I'm changing channels and won't go back to that show for the rest of the day.

I might switch to Cops, I might switch to Ted Nugent's Spirit of the Wild, if it's on. I can't and won't take any more of Rove.

“Rove makes my hair hurt.”

He makes my wattle shimmy.

Does this mean you’re going to stop watching “Hannity and Rove” on Fox?

At least the liberals on Fox are admitted liberals. Rove is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He pretends to be a Republican.

Yep. No more “Hannity and Rove” as soon as Rove appears.

Of course, this means Rove will accuse me of helping the Republicans lose control of the Senate.

I leave him on and scream at him to shut up and go away. It feels better than turning the station.

I can’t stand him either. Karl singlehandedly took a wipeout in the senate and turned it into a modest gain.

To be more precise, he will say that you have no hope of winning a Senate seat.

Karl Rove is what you find in a badly soiled, festering diaper.

Uh, I’ve been doing that for ~10 years. It’s called killing the TV and getting a life.

It’s fascinating how we turn on folks who were our heroes in earlier battles. Why is this?

Upon reflection - I wonder why Karl Rove was unable or unwilling to stop the putrid press that George Bush endured for 8 years. Rove supposedly ran many successful campaigns to elect candidates. I don’t advocate permanent campaigns (like the one we are experiencing now).....but Good Grief - Rove was a poor senior advisor during Katrina etc.,

I turned on Rove the instant he turned on O’Donnell.

Rove was a genius 10 years ago. The world tilts on its axis, the axis changes. Rove stays fixed. Not good for a political talking head.

Karl, take a new sounding and join the modern world.

Here's how it works: Rove said O'Donnell was unelectable, and the FReepers who disagreed with Bush on immigration policy unloaded upon him. There is no more simple way to explain it, other than to admit that Rove (as a hired hand) carried Bush's immigration policy forward.

Don't mention Bush's campaign platform, though . . . you get a blank stare.

I agree. To me, Carl Rove is the Harry Reid of the Republican party. Announcing to our enemies “The war is lost” before we even get out of the foxhole. Then with his little bunch of country clubber money group giving to everyone’s campaign so that they’d be somehow beholden to him?>?? NOT!!!

We’re not all WHORES Mr. Rove.
