Considering everything above, do you believe if Reagan were president in 2008, he would have attempted to shove an amnesty down our throats when the American people were overwhelmingly against it? I seriously doubt it.

Thanks for being honest...Bet the rent, everything considered, Reagan would have *never* even considered amnesty in 2008.

We sometimes do. We both get in a few good licks most of the time. When push comes to shove, I’ll stand with him against the liberals. :)

Bikers gather before following Cody to school. 13-year-old Cody brought national attention to Denair, Calif., after he was asked to remove an American flag from his bicycle that he rides to Denair Middle School each morning by school officials. On Monday morning, Cody Alicea rode his bike to school with the flag, followed by hundreds of community members bearing American flags.

I’m trying to imagine the looks on the faces of the students, and who were offended by our flag, when they saw that crowd and all those flags following Cody to school...

I hope it was fear mixed with overwhelming dread.

Fear at the realization that Americans are not going to be pushed around any longer by accusations of discrimination.

Fear that the path to American citizenship is blocked by those who honor the American flag and that for which it stands.

Fear that the free ride is quickly coming to an end.

Fear that California will not be given over to Mexico!

> THIS is how we keep and/or take back the public schools.

The very concept of “Public schools” is an AFFRONT to freedom.

If a group of parents wants to form a collective to educate their kids, they can have at it. But that’s not enough for the “public school” nazis. No, they must compel me and my family to at least PAY FOR it, if not participate in it.

And if we don’t want to participate, they want to add a whole bunch of regulations about what we can teach, what we can’t teach, when we can teach, how long we must teach, what ages to teach, yada, yada, yada.

We have to submit to more testing and curricula examination than the bloody government school collectives.

And we have to PAY FOR IT besides!

And the bloody collective charges our town $18,000 per student per year. A real bargain, right? Especially when you could get the Dublin Academy Boarding School for $14,000 per student per year, with mutliple student discounts, which are unavailable from the government school collective.

The church schools charge as little as $3000 per student per year, with multiple student discounts.

As homeschoolers, we spend about $200 per student per year on books and materials.

The biggest entitlement, the one most destructively woven into our societal fabric, is the government school collective. The sooner we do away with it, the better.

According to Albert Einstein, the definition of insanity is to repeat a process and expect different results. We’ve been repeating the process of “taking back” the government schools for years.

Once in a while, we win a battle. But try to get the schools to stop teaching that homosexuality is valid and natural. Won’t happen. Try getting them to teach that a family consists of a male Father, a female Mother, and their children. Try getting them to teach that abortion is murder.

Won’t happen.

Ever.

And the very concept of a government school collective, to which you must contribute even if you don’t participate, is TYRANNY!

A sound car with the Stars and Stripes Forever, by John Philips Sousa.

The meeting (in Patton) between Patton and Montgomery in Messina, where that song is played, always makes me smile.

After this show of community support by hundreds, I think they'd have a bit of a problem there little ray.
