Yikes! I hadn’t heard about this one in a while ... the House was working on something similar.

I contacted my senators, and have submitted the link to Drudge.

If implemented, S510 can define as a crime to clean, store, and own seeds or seed stocks unless granted that right by the federal government. Think you’ll be granted that “right” when arguing against Monsanto’s lawyers?

NO JOKE.

Tyrants from time immemorial have controlled populations by controlling the food supply.

We must not let this happen in the USA!

“Also, your three-year life on all laws is a great idea.”

Thanks.

I will try to spread that idea.

My RINO senator (Alexander) is at the top of the list of cosponsors. He has been duly instructed about the proper way to vote.

Durbin I get he has been trying to kill vitamins for years so why wouldn’t he go after our natural food, too (he is probably a fan of solient green), but Orin Hatch?

I’m a Texan now, but I HATE Lamar Alexander. He;s a Rino;s RINO. I personally know some things about him that make me want to puke. Totally corrupt.

But Sen. Hatch isn’t in this list so far as I can see. Did he back off and go against the bill?

Look at this list: VSB 510 - The Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010 Sen. Richard Durbin [D-IL] Cosponsors: Lamar Alexander [R-TN], Jeff Bingaman [D-NM], Richard Burr [R-NC], Roland Burris [D-IL], Saxby Chambliss [R-GA], Christopher Dodd [D-CT], Michael Enzi [R-WY], Kirsten Gillibrand [D-NY], Judd Gregg [R-NH], Thomas Harkin [D-IA], Orrin Hatch [R-UT], John Isakson [R-GA], Can anyone doubt that the present 2-party system is nothing more than a scripted passion play where the corrupt actors play to the audience for their own monetary/political/??? reward?

Grayson called a lobbyist a “K Street Whore.”

The list you just posted are just that. Or, maybe more accurately, “Whores for K Street.”

I wonder what happened at that clambake held by lobbyists for the freshmen last Saturday? I’d like to know which ones took the bait.

Correct, Hatch is in the ‘no’ column. Frankly, every GOP Senator should be in the ‘no’ column on every single vote until they allow Sen. Kirk to take his seat.

I called both Burr’s and Kagan’s offices yesterday. Both offices DENY that the Bill would affect home gardener’s ability to grow one’s own food or to save seeds. Just remember both offices denied it.
