How can we call this country great when all the things that made us great are gone or fading fast?

For too long now our country has been slipping into a darkness many of us fear we will not escape. We have lost so many of our Constitutional Rights and so many are oblivious or couldn't care less. In this age of superficial social lives spawned and maintained online. People cant seem to look up from their phones to take in the new scene around them.

We have an Oklahoma Judge pretty much saying that Sharia Law is ok. A judge that is sworn to uphold the State's Constitution where an amendment was passed to ban it.

Courts ruling that it's ok to use other people's SSN's, an Army Soldier having access to Department of State communications. Christmas is no longer Christmas, it's just a time in our lives when we get off work and give one another presents.

A "survey" taken of Military Servicemen and Women that overwhelmingly agree with the repeal of DADT. I don't know who they talked to but it all seems sketchy to me.

This is country is so politicized that people have forgotten to be Americans first. Its not what i want for this country. It's not what that Democrat or this Republican want for this country. It's what our Founders intended for this country.

There is no Freedom of Religion anymore. We can no longer Bear Arms. Our private property is ours unless the Government wants it. We can be unreasonbly searched.

Im currently Active Army Infantry with multiple deployments. My re-enlistment is coming up soon and i don't know what I'm fighting for anymore. for freedom? Who's freedom? We're quickly losing ours.

There are so many of us who agee with you & I would feel the same as you, "what are you fighting for" since all our freedoms are but gone!

Sad state this country is in, but the sheeple were sold a package of damaged goods & this is what you get when you bargain shop for a prez.

Hate to say it but the US has lost the battle to world government.

We are delusional and have failed to do the job necessary to preserve freedom here at home.

I think it is us against them.

The Left understands how to reach the new generations via tweets, facebook etc... We need to stop believing that people will seek what's right and Lead them to the path.

Where do they congregate? Find it and show them the light in a way they don't feel like they're being lectured to. Plant the US Constitution in their minds and all this Idiocy will become chrystal clear as a danger to their freedom.

Amazing. Eight replies so far and no one has called him a hate-America-firster who loves Osama bin Laden in a “forbidden-love” kind of way.

Anyway, the American people are to blame for the current state of affairs. They decided being slaves to the State was more comfortable than freedom and liberty.

I have come to believe that the natural state of mankind is slavery. Most Americans see the government plantation as a cozy place.
