WASHINGTON – Raising the direst alarm yet, the Obama administration warned fellow Democrats on Wednesday that if they defeat the big tax-cut compromise detested by many liberals, they could jolt the nation back into recession.
President Barack Obama appealed anew for Congress to "get this done" and insisted that more congressional Democrats would climb aboard as they studied details of the $900 billion year-end measure. Several did announce support on Wednesday, but at least one said there still was "a mood to resist."

It’s truly astounding how two-faced the regime and the media is. I don’t have any more words to describe the total ignorance being shown in the news, the article comments and the American public in general.
I must have read three or four articles today where ‘economists’ were saying it was imperative that the tax rates be extended and remain the same. Yet, I can’t see any media telling us about the Obozo lies on this...
This is so frustrating and really demonstrates the FILTH that this regime and the media are.

“back into recession?” For whom? Are these people nuts? We are still in a recession if not depression as far as average Americans are concerned. To the Beltway Boys: Check unemployment numbers, check foreclosure numbers, check repossession numbers. Inflation? Go to the grocery store yourself for a change. Go buy a tank full of gas and check your heat bill then tell me again that we’re not in recession with high inflation when you look in your wallet.

Should be interesting to watch all the ways they find to re-characterize things as conservative or bipartisan while not changing the underlying result a bit. Especially since they don't have people with the brains to pull this sort of thing off any more and I doubt the Clinton wing is going to step up and show them how. They think they're the smartest people on earth and the reality of the situation isn't going to sink in on them, ever. I'm looking forward to a real carnival as the radical wing has manic depressive episodes bouncing between praise for and hatred of "the one" and the majority of democrat pols finally realize that Barry is literally insane.
Barry is so lost in egomania that he'll see the present situation as an opportunity to save the democrat party, and by extension, the whole country from the "swing towards arch conservatism and radical patriotism". The talking points are flying around as we speak and Barry will be more arrogant than ever.

You're right about that and now that various folks are slinking away they're about to be left with only people who don't know how to hide their own corruption. Barry and a couple of others have always had someone to hide the dirt and corruption for them and now they're going to have to try and do it themselves. Recommending that Rangle resign is going to come back and haunt Barry in a big way, and no one is going to be around to make deals and spare Barry the fallout from his own actions.
Along with trying to do what the Clinton gang did to change their image and not having the brains and experience to do it, they're probably going all be so arrogant now that they'll even piss off the media sooner rather than later. Fun to watch, though, even if most of the Republicans haven't yet realized what an edge they really have going into next year.
