An enraged father who disapproved of his daughter's older boyfriend went to his home and castrated him with a bread knife.
Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his 17-year-old daughter was having a relationship with Phillip Genscher, 57.
He went to police in the town of Bielefeld where he lives but officers said they were powerless to intervene.
"The man then recruited two work colleagues at his factory and then went to the house of the victim," said police.
"The man was forced to remove his trousers and, fully conscious, he was castrated. The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator."

The taliban would have handled it differently. The various options they employ would be:
1. Stoning the young woman to death.
2. Slitting her throat in an honor killing.
3. Raping her to death while in jail.
4. For the taliban she was actually a little old for this man. They prefer to marry the girls off a bit younger. Their prophet started them at 6 yrs old.
Or perhaps I read this story wrong and it was the girl the father attacked and not the 57 yr old pervert.
Since the police said they couldn't do anything, it must have been legal for a 17 year old and a 57 year old to have sex. So in essence, this was not molestation.
Yes, I agree, it's sick - on both their parts. But it wasn't illegal.
A guy I know has a daughter who was dating a real loser several years ago. The dad made a comment that he had thought about shooting him and burying out on the farm where no one could find him....”but she would just find some other loser to go out with.” She did eventually wise up and is now a nurse, the loser ended up in jail.
