Bill O’Reilly recently talked with frequent Fox News guest Charles Krauthammer to handicap potential GOP candidates’ chances in the 2012 presidential election. Krauthammer called Mitt Romney the front-runner” and said Mike Huckabee has established himself as a “major player”…but his most dissected comments will probably be his remarks on one Sarah Palin.
Krauthammer compared Palin’s problem to Hillary Clinton’s in the late 1990s – strong support from her core base, virulent opposition from most others. O’Reilly asked if the level of opposition to Palin is the media’s fault, and while Krauthammer said they’ve “contributed enormously” and that “the animus to her is unprecedented,” he also allowed that “she is not practiced in policy” and that the infamous Katie Couric interview was “not a ‘gotcha’ interview.” According to Krauthammer, Palin’s growth in mastering policy issues will shape her fate:
“I think if you want to expand your base, you have to get into policy even though it sounds dull.”

We don’t want a policy wonk like Gingrich. We need a leader with big ideas and a drive to see things through for president. Sarah Palin is a leader who is results oriented AND she brings good old commonsense with her.

But Reagan had a way of describing philosophy that was brilliant granted I wasnt around during the reagan era but from what I’ve seen on YouTube he runs circles verbally around Palin. She needs to step her game up and communicate clearly what conservatism is and why liberalism has never worked and be able to cite clear cut data and be quick to rebut obvious liberal myths and falsehoods. Talking about “real America” isn’t going to endear her to a wide audience... Making Obama look stupid like Reagan did Carter in a debate will.

Krauthammer and company are crap connosieurs. So much of their vaunted knowledge is just a heavy investment in the status quo.
Katie Couric and her ilk are not going to have any input into my vote.
One of RR's greatest strengths on the campaign trail was the ability to make each person in the crowd feel like he was talking to only them. As a communicator SP has the same ability.
Apparently Charles has not been reading Sarah’s writings posted in the WSJ, on Facebook, her latest book, not her interviews.
Sarah has really gotten up to speed on all the major issues in the country and the world.
Is there a US politician more committed to Israel than Sarah? Didn’t think so.
That really has nothing to do with what I posted?.?
