How much more will We The People tolerate?

We'll tolerate up to the point where we're asking each other "How did we let this happen?"

Well, at least he didn’t publish the details of how the badges work and how many digits in the code to open the doors.

I once had access to a huge cobalt-60 cell used to sterilize stuff like medical gear and band-aids and clinical petri dishes. When you think of Dirty Bombs, this would have been a granddaddy in the wrong hands. Megacuries.

I saw a vulnerability about access I didn’t like, and the manager said it was covered, don’t worry.

Should I have gone public and explained how to access and remove the source rods on YouTube and in the NYT? The place is still in operation, it’s not too late, though they have not had an incident.

Another point, yes my mileage varies.

I doubt as a pilot that he’d be privy to all security measures, and who is cleared for what and what the clearance procedures are.

As I mentioned in another post, the powers that be hire professionals with all the access they need.

His comment that “when you see a cart on the field, it’s not checked”, and a bunch of other assertions, all sound like he does not know what checks are made or what clearance it takes to go through a door. And why should he? His job is to fly the plane, not do background checks on the ramp rats.

Yeah, you’re right - that doddering old buffoon Ben Franklin had NO idea what he was talking about...

Did Franklin publish troop movements during the Revolution? If not, why not?

Your “question” is a non-sequitur, dilwit.

So we should have completely open access to security procedures at sensitive facilities?

You don’t have an answer, and don’t know what a non sequitur is.

Yawn. You can diddle yourself all night about your "security", as Mr. Franklin so aptly put it.

I'll let you talk to yourself from here on out. Good night, sweetums! :-)

I want EVERY security flaw of EVERY airport exposed to the public in EVERY manner possible.

This will shut down air travel entirely for some period of time.

This is the only way normalcy can eventually be re-established, with an Israeli-type security screening process.

[You} don’t know what a non sequitur is.

I've arm-wrestled a few times with Non-Sequitur right here on Free Republic. Strangely, he actually addresses the topic at hand, instead of going off into the bushes, like you hunting after your non-existent "security snipe".

I don't. That's lunacy to expose security flaws to your enemies. That's not the way to handle it.

I think the pilot did everyone a favor. Fact is the TSA system is a highly flawed security apparatus, and they know it. Get rid of it. Issue everyone who boards a plane an 18” bowie knife. Tell the world we will nuke Mecca and Medina during Ramadan is anything happens to our aircraft. Billions of dollars would be saved and government power reduced. You sir are far to enamored with the trappings of power. Power should be de centr”ized not concentrated. That is a fundemental principal of conservatism. You are very very far off that mark.
