Officer won't sign order for troop indoctrination
WND ^ | 25 December 2010 | Brian Fitzpatrick

Posted on 12/25/2010 4:20:55 AM PST by plsjr

President Obama's repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy is already damaging the U.S. military.

An Army lieutenant colonel has asked to be relieved of command rather than order his troops to go through pro-homosexual indoctrination following the repeal of the policy, which required homosexuals to keep silent about their sexual preference.

Currently the commander of a battalion-sized unit in the Army National Guard, the officer also has threatened to resign his commission rather than undergo "behavior modification" training intended to counter his religious convictions about homosexuality.

Political correctness runs amok! It truely is over for America, our fall is emminent!

So, to what do we owe your sarcasm toward a post about gays in the military?

The original article expressed concern about gays in the military. Both of you undermined his argument with a "hey, homosexuality is not the end of the world, and gay is okay in the military" meme, to which lessthantolerant added sarcasm and ad hominem misdirection and appeal to motive in lieu of argument.

So what's your story, morning glory? You guys doing a little trolling on FR?

Guess I didn't make it clear enough (rereading my posts) that I was talking about career people, senior people who've re-upped or have accepted commissions and are in for the full 20, or 26, or 30.

I pinged out another article about this the other day, not from WND.

You can use search term “homosexual agenda” and it should turn up, unless someone forgot to add that as a keyword.

What people - especially young people - see, hear, read, listen to - strongly affects the mind and desires. That’s why advertising and propaganda and education work. They influence people.

I was very influenced by the books I read and music I listened to when I was a teenager; very influenced. I didn’t like TV or movies much so wasn’t so influenced by those. It was the 60s, very different time of course.

Good links, addresses real military POV about fags in the military, and the damage they do now even under DADT, and how NATO admits that fags do damage to morale and readiness.

Right, two bull queers killing a little boy of fourteen or so with their grossly perverted, unimaginably disgusting idea of sex doesn’t resonate but the idea of a couple of rednecks killing gay Matthew only because he was gay does.

“...but the idea of a couple of rednecks killing gay Matthew only because he was gay does.”

Exactly. And never mind the fact that that isn’t even remotely close to what really happened.

“but I do recall back in the 1950’s rock and roll was going to lead to the irreparable tearing of our social and moral fabric.”

And it slowly has. All one has to do is listen to and look at the filthy disgusting lyrics and videos of whats being called “music” nowadays. I'll never forget my Grandpa's reaction to the first time the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. He stopped just short of going ballistic. I look back now and realize he was right.

Are you kidding? It all started in Paris on May 29, 1913. That disgusting Nijinsky! ;-)

But at least that was blatantly heterosexual!

DADT still exists. It will now be applied to members of the US Armed Forces. We won't ask what they think of sexual devience, but punish them if they say something or refuse to enforce the new orthodoxy.

Amazing how quickly things change. 27 years ago, a Democrat Congress overwhelmingly banned homosexuals in the military.
