Fleetwood Mac did a song called “Murrow Turning Over In His Grave”.

I bet he is now, being compared to a basic cable comedy show host.

The New York Times hasn’t been relevant for a long time now, and this audacious slop proves that they haven’t caught on to that yet. Their type is always the last to know.

Jon Stewart is the liberal’s way of dismissing the liberal bias in the media. When you prove the lib bias, they always retreat back and say, “well, I get all my news from Jon Stewart these days anyway.”

Like good liberals, they believe their own lies...and when enough liberals lie about something, it becomes their own version of truth and the only proof required is massive buy-in. To call them mentally insane is an insult to insane people.

And in the same vein, obama is the modern day equivalent of Alfred E Neuman.

No, I think Stewart is just a well connected millionaire liberal socialite.

He obviously has friends at the NYT.

Murrow was a lifeling Kappa Sigma after his joining.

Stewart was a Pi Kappa Alpha for six months.

Both he and his wife legally changed their last names to Stewart when they were married.

Graduated from Lawrence High School in Lawrence, New Jersey, in 1980. In the yearbook, he was voted “Best Sense of Humor”. He still occasionally returns for school fundraisers.

Was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity for six months. During that time, he felt that fraternities had no point and dropped out. He feels no allegiance to PiKA at all.

Re: NYT MONDAY: Jon Stewart ‘modern-day equivalent of Edward R. Murrow’

Only the elite mainstream media and their liberal followers falls for this type of crap that they themselves invent—

Typical rating for Prime Time Cable News and Jon Stewart:

FNC – 3,084,000 viewers
CNN – 591,000 viewers
MSNBC –749,000 viewers
CNBC – 215,000 viewers
HLN –725,000 viewers

The Daily Show - 1.5 million

If pulling in as many viewers as CNN, MSNBC & CNBC is considered being the new Edward R. Murrow, then just imagine who the FOX NEWS CHANNEL should be compared to as they pull in more viewers than CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and Jon Stewart combined!

>>>>>“The two that come instantly to mind are Murrow and Cronkite,”

No wonder Jon Stewart is being compared to leftist icons Murrow and Cronkie. Its the best the liberal Democrat establishment can do these days.

NYT is just trying to kiss Stewart's ass so that he won't target them on his show.

That's the only reason I can think of since the leftists really take it personally when they are in Stewart's cross hairs.
