Less than two months after voters gave Republicans six more Senate seats and control of the House, the GOP is lining up candidates for 2012, well ahead of the pace of previous election cycles.

--snip--

In Virginia, Democratic Sen. Jim Webb could face a rematch against former Sen. George Allen. Webb inched out Allen in 2006, but Allen has been building buzz for a return to Washington with speeches to tea party groups and less-than-subtle hints he is weighing another campaign...

Jim Webb: Why Reagan Dems Still Matter

Jim Webb went to the White House last September. The Virginia senator was meeting with the president to discuss Guantanamo detainees. The conversation soon shifted to healthcare. "I told him this was going to be a disaster," Webb recalls...

Voting for Obamacare wasn't too smart, especially since he thought it was a "disaster." Now his judgment is questionable.

We must make sure that the ones getting an early start are not just the same old Party hacks. We need, not just some fresh blood, but some people who really want smaller government and lower taxes. The Tea Party types have to get in the races early.

Beyond questionable in my book. He just voted for the DREAM Act.

Remember the controversy a few years back over Webb's pornographic writings (which are too vile to repeat here)?

There are lots of ‘Rat Senators up for re-election in 2012 and they all need to face a conservative GOP nominee who has the backing of the Tea Party movement.

Jim Webb is a prime example.

If we really want to defeat the demorats in 2012, you are absolutely right....hit them hard and hit them early. Utilize many of the same undermining tactics they have use so effectively for many years.

At the same time, TP folks and Constitutionalists must work together to also bring down RINOs without harming the GOP cause, and hit them the same way.

But the most important thing for ALL TP & C people to do is
working with and/or for your local Republican Central Committees. Starting early 2011, not 2012 when it will be too late to influence the primary elections.

Believe it or not, your local RCC’s hold the key to winning for both local, state and national elections, and those that work for the cause have a huge influence on who eventually appears on the General Election ballot. By being there at the start of the election cycle, you can have a great influence on who is in the finals!

I'm a member of our county RCC, and getting elected was both easy and inexpensive....consider doing the same for 2012 yourself, if you can tear yourself away from your computer....

Within a few weeks after the 112th is seated, we’ll see if nobama will continue to show his ass like the bruthas or will realize his shining was just a flash in the pan and will play along like slick.

If he keeps on being our trusty lil dumbass nobama, there will be a flood of good Conservatives take the Senate and Prez in 2012.

Wow...I’m a Tea Party guy through and through. If we ever get to the point where solid conservatives like Allen aren’t pure enough, though, we may really be having our own Reign of Terror.

It’s one thing to take down lefties like Castle and Murkowski. Allen isn’t pure enough, though?

Wow.

Hank

So because she's a "tea party woman" we should close our minds and blindly support her? Got news for you pal, there are some unsavory folks in the tea party. The type that will put on an air of being an unabashedly red, white & blue, Constitution-loving American if it serves to further their ambitions.

So, you play the sightless mouse if that suits you. Others will delve in and seek to learn more about any candidate that wants our vote.

Ironic that you chose the site name 'sentient'.

I hope that the GOP momentum can be maintained, but republicans get complacent so easily.
