One interesting thing about the chart in post 80 is the last line.
People who never attend church: Bush 35% Gore 65%

The conclusion to be drawn here, students, is that were it not for the over one-third of America's atheists and agnostics who voted Republican, Al Gore would have been President. When your premises are fatally flawed (which yours are), then any conclusion drawn from them will be equally flawed.

Church attendance, or lack thereof, is not a reliable indicator of either belief or disbelief in God, athiesm, or agnosticism.

Some of the most spiritual people I knew growing up had not attended church since returning from WW-II, other than for funerals or weddings. Of course that violates the absolute "never", but to their way of thinking it qualified as "never".

I know that Sarah was not a “Jew.” You are talking to someone who debates Rabbis on “Jewish” matters and has stumped them every time. Actually, “Jew,” or “Yehudit” was used as an epithet during the civil war between the Tribes and I would rather not use it to describe myself because I think it is a perjorative that the world at large chose to call us and Hebrews have adopted for common usage. It bothers me.

So what does "Yehudit" actually mean in Hebrew?

Yes, if you have red-green confusion. ;-)

The word was actually Yehudi, and it wasn’t so much what it meant as the way it was used by other tribes in reference to the Tribe of Yehudah. (Judah.) It was used by the Northern Tribes as almost a spitting word.
Adding the “t” gives it gender and makes it female.
Yehudi=singular, male. Yehudim=plural. Yehudit=singular, female.
Unless you are a historian, much of the civil war between the Hebrews is not understood and even less its contribituon to the utter destruction of all of Israel. It is a long and winding path this history and trying to explain it in a thread on FR is a tad much.
Suffice it to say, that lumping all Hebrews together and believing the modern spin is not a good thing.

The author: Couldn't be a Mitt Romney connection at all, could it? Thanks yort. Interesting quote to lead off his page:
It is a misleading cult that teaches that the remedy of our ills is to have the law give over, once and for all, the strivings of the centuries for a rational coherence, and sink back in utter weariness to a justice that is the flickering reflection of the impulse of the moment." -- Benjamin Cardozo
