The latest wind vortex scanning photography taken within tornadoes indicates numerous instances of flying bird trauma. Birds planning to fly during tornadic activity are urged to use extreme caution.

Methane or other natural gas. Testing some of the animals should be fairly definitive. If they show evidence of expiring due to hypoxia...

Of course, that won't slow the conspiracy minded down for a second though.

What an ignorant statement.

I shoot bottle rockets directly at a flock of parrots twice a week and unfortunately not a single one has fallen dead from stress.

As far as the birds, all reports I've read said they fell from the sky, there weren't any staggering around on the ground which would indicate some kind of illness setting in either from disease or chemical.

Whatever it was appears to have killed them instantly so I'm going with an electrical outburst of some kind, probably lightning which doesn't necessarily mean it has to strike the ground. I've seen storm clouds flaring with lightning bursts inside them....

I hear (seriously) that they are injecting a lot of water into dry wells into the very depth of the continuing earthquake swarm. Could this water be lubricating the active Arkansas seismic activity?

Before you attack me remember that Arkansas is the only place in the easttern US that has large hot springs and diamonds.

I was thinking last night about it and trying to figure it out. If it was poisoning how could they be 125 miles apart?Your analogy is excellent.

I’m not going to attack you. I would suspect you are referring to the process called “fracking”, though there are other reasons for pumping water down. And there is no consensus at all as to how, if at all, it could affect unstable substrata.

It is known that (natural) underground water movements can radically alter geothermal fields (as in Hot Springs), and there is ample theories about how it could affect an earthquake zone, but a caldera? That is like a mix of half a dozen major geological processes lumped into one.

On a scale of one to one million, our scientific knowledge is in the low three digits for stuff like this. Anybody’s guess, and pure luck if it is right or wrong.

Sounds like Uncle Sam's got a new toy.

Testing it out on birds and fish.

Just heard on the radio (NY) it was 3,000 black birds that died. I'd believe a report that said 2,894 blackbirds.

Who counted the fish? They missed 3

Nope, I don’t mean fracking. It looks like all gas wells produce some salt water. They pump this salt water into non-producing gas wells to get rid of it. A lot of people are claiming that this extra water is at the same depth of the earthquakes.

When I sold my gas rights in SE Ohio I didn’t permit them to use my potentionally dry well as a salt water dump. Not because of earthquakes but because of the mess this causes around the pump, LOL. They haven’t drilled yet. And it will be a very very deep well, no fracking here.

Just heard a very short report on local radio about this. They reduced the amount of dead birds to 1,000 and didn’t even mention the fish. Are they waiting for the *official* government report? I’m sure DHS and our former doofus governor is on it. /sarc

Now.... frogs falling out of the sky is another matter.

And as impossible as that may seem, it also happens.

As does fish falling from the sky...

Well...in flroida, when they fly the planes and drop mosquito killer on all of florida TWICE a year, you will see certain bird species lying dead under the trees. But, hey, people love chemicals in this world...and it’s killing not only the animals but us.
