It remains to be seen how quickly the GOP will be able to adapt to modern realities.

I guess I don’t belong in the GOP any longer.

I do not support gay marriage or DADT.

Fiscal conservatism is good.
Social conservatism is good.

Folks who want to be socially Liberal can go join the Libertarian Party.

It is not about "a generational problem".
It is about DNC-pandering, RINO-shapeshifting,
and unconstitutional fascism by those in power.

You joined three days ago to post this nonsense? They were saying these things about conservatism 40 years ago when I was in my 20’s. You see how that worked out, right?

I was encouraged to see ALL FOUR opponents of Michael Steele were tea Party Supporters (at the GOP debate) but all of them missed a point

Michael Steele said: “Look at my record- We WON” [in November]

At least ONE of them should have said “We won DESPITE the Michael Steele RINO’s in the GOP, and 100% due to Tea Party”

Please expound on your “modern realities”.

Did, for some reason, homosexuality suddenly become a healthy lifestyle, both for the individual and for the society that embraces it?

How much do you leftist paymasters give you to post infantile drivel about “modern realities”? What do you know about the sodomite lifestyle? What do you know about the consequences to societies that allow sexual deviance to be “normalized”? Not much, I’m sure.

Now here is a “modern reality” for you: within 10 years you’ll be living in a collapsed economy.

Callo youth will persist in their own prejudice against the wisdom of their elders until just one of their friend’s 3 year olds is molested by the friendly neighborhood pedophile ~ then they will adjust their uninformed opinions.

Homosexuality is sexual perversion, pure and simple. It is mental illness and must be treated as such. Sexual deviancy has been around since mankind, just as murder, rape, and all other crimes. It is not the right thing to do, and teaching children that it is somehow acceptable is child abuse of the worst kind.

Conservatives should simply not associate with CPAC any longer because it is no longer conservative.

Sodomizing and sexualizing children in school is a modern reality? Then so should should be lynching those who do it.

TiAhr-02L, welcome to FR.

What “modern realities” do you mean?
Thanks.

Not even close!

It is not a "Generational" divide, but rather an "IDEOLOGICAL" one

Let us not forget that the Republi-Tard Party (WHICH AIN'T NECESSARILY CONSERVATIVE, as evidenced by our last big-spending, RINO, "Compassionate Conservative" President and the reason I quit being a Republican in 75 when another RINO, wuss, Gerald Ford abdocated his Presidential responsibility and turned his back on our allies, So. Vietnam) is populated with many, many, left-of-center, people.

If the R Party is to survive, we Cons must clean house and if the pseudo-R's and Mods don't like it, feel free to join the Demo-Rats where their allegiance mostly resides to begin with.

I keep asking this question to ever Dimmy-Crat, Prog, Leftist, Lib and every one has avoided answering it, cuz they can't: WHY are there no DINO's???

That would have sounded so tacky ~ BTW, none of the TEA Party gurus are placing a claim on the state legislature victories ~ we control 21 more legislatures now than we controlled last Summer, so whatever Chairman Steele did, it worked didn’t it.

If you think the GOP can win without social conservatives, then John McCain must have won huge!
