It would make MORE sense to ban the name Lee, noting: (1) Lee Harvey Oswald (2) Ronnie Lee Gardner (3) Jared Lee Loughner and also middle names, noting that every deranged mass murderer (e.g. John Wayne Gacy) seems to have one.

I would wager money on the fact that they all had a swig of dihydrogen monoxide within the 24 hours preceding their crimes.

Maricopa county is adjacent to Pima county where these murders and attempted murders occurred. If this wacko kid was just a few miles away in Maricopa, he'd be in the same place he's in now but the incident probably wouldn't have happened

Laws are already in the books, some LEOs can't read very well....or open their eyes (and ears) to the goings on in their communities.

Pima county needs a new sheriff.....tomorrow.

That politicians can “do anything” about a very disturbed/sick young person who fell between the cracks of society, is ludicrous. It sounds like, from a lot we have heard, that this young man wavered between some sense of sanity and some form of mental illness. One cannot predict the unpredictable, and taking guns away from the general population will do nothing to stop episodes like this.

If a person wants to kill someone badly enough, he will find a way in all probability.
