Another pussified Republican. The left started this nonsense and whipped it to a national frenzy. Now, after getting their asses kicked, they lecture the right about tolerance, and want us all to sit together and play nice. The stupid party caves again.

Idiots. They have the majority. They should LOOK like they have the majority. All they are doing is diluting their appearance of power.

Maybe this makes sense because there apparently is no difference between the Democrats and Republicans.

I think Snerdly nailed this on Rush’s show today.

The left(Dems)do not want the visual of the fact that the Republicans have a LARGE majority in the House.

Bipartisanship to the Dem left is both parties agreeing with the left’s position and policies.

Fast forwarding to the SOTU speech, it occurs to me that such speeches are chock full of applause lines. In the past, it was possible to know at a glance who was applauding - and therefore agreeing with - the speech.

With everyone sitting together, it will now appear that everyone is applauding.

Smart move for the dems. Bonehead move for the republicans.

If it's such a great idea, why didn't the dems do it when they were in the majority?

Wonderful. They’ll all sit there making goo-goo eyes at each other and applauding another typically long-winded Obama speech about The State of Himself. And the very next day, Democrats will go right back to calling them racist, sexist, homophobic, knuckle-dragging Neanderthal bigots who created the violent atmosphere that led to the shooting in Tucson.

“Obama’s NH Event scraps National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance”
Drudge Report (Link only) ^ | October 17, 2008 | Drudge

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2108499/posts

Guess what’s gone from the Internet now? 0bama asking the fellow at a town hall event in August of 2008, after being forced to saying the Pledge of Allegiance, whether he “was happy now”? Can’t find it anywhere.

Let’s see how civil Democrats are in upholding the Constitution of the US, since it has not been important to adhere to it for the last 2 years by their own admission.

We are now governed by those who think in pictures. Affirmation of a ‘unified’ response will be portrayed as a rationale to slow down repeal of any 0bama agenda item.

Next, the Democrats will tell everyone what color to wear to the SOTU. THis is the clear creation of perception by manipulation an appearance of unity throughout the Congress, just as agitators position themselves throughout a crowd to give a false appearance of support. It will allow the SOTU to set the tone of the ENTIRE debate thereafter.

You watch. It will be important to delay bills out of civility.

“when civil wars make civil hands unclean” automatically refers to 0bama as “The Prince.” Sit down and shut up, conservatives. You have nothing to say and should simply do as we say.

Does this mean that the Republican congressmen will be giving standing ovations to 0bama, shoulder to shoulder with Pelosi, Bwaney Frank, et al?? This sounds like a bad dream.

I sent the following email to Rep. McCarthy.I encourage others send something similar themselves.

There are TWO areas that trouble me about Obama's upcoming SOTU Speech and the suggestion that the Republicans sit with the democRATs.

1.) It will make the democRAT minority appear LARGER on camera and therefore they didn't lose in the November elections by as much as they did.

2.) The inevitable CHEERLEADING that the LEFT will do, will appear on camera as coming from everyone and not only the democRATs.

The question is, will the Republicans be STUPID enough to sit with the democRATs to make the democRATs look good ?
