Beautiful people don't just get all the breaks, scientists say they're likely smarter than most people, too.
A study in England conducted by researchers at the London School of Economics found that attractive men and women generally have higher IQs.
"Physical attractiveness is significantly positively associated with general intelligence," said LSE lead researcher Satoshi Kanazawa, in the latest issue of the journal, Intelligence.
The study indicated attractive men have IQs that are 13.6 points above the average, while beautiful women are 11.4 points higher than average.

Good grooming (hair, nails, etc.) can make a huge difference. Just look at sites of movie stars without make-up. Shocking.
How about the ones who squander their wealth on multiple wives and girlfriends! That's smart? (And I'm a doctor.) (And still married to the same, fabulous, brilliant, beautiful woman I first married! And the mother of my GORGEOUS and brilliant children.) (Who are ALL conservatives and registered Republicans!)
Come to think of it: Conservatives tend to be much better looking than "Liberals." Maybe there's something to this study after all.

Once I said in passing to the friend that his partner must be very rich. He replied that he would be but that he had been married multiple times and his wives took most of what he had earned.
Some people are very smart in a limited way--like idiots savant--but otherwise very dumb. Many college professors fall into this category--though many of them are just plain dumb.

This topic has interested me for quite a while, and one lesson that I have learned is that it is utterly impossible to judge intelligence from either a picture or at first sight.
Even after a polite conversation it is not always apparent.
I tend to buy this study, at least to a certain degree. The most physically attractive women that I’ve known over the years tend to have an IQ in the 110-125 range.

There is now a 10% tanning tax that applies mainly to Caucasians. Leftists are doing their best to address the growing brains gap by canceling advanced placement classes and running a race to the bottom in the public schools.

As Einstein is the gold standard of human genius, whatever he says about the matter *must* be correct. Therefore, since Bachmann is a tax lawyer and Palin is not, Bachmann is smartest. We therefore do not reach the problem of inferring intellect from beauty, as the question of intellect has been satisfactorily resolved on independent grounds.
