Bush's aides broke politics law

During the 2006 midterm elections, White House political aides to President George W. Bush engaged in widespread violations of a federal law which limits partisan political activity by government employees, a long-running federal investigation has found.

A report issued Monday by the little-known Office of Special Counsel cites numerous violations of the Hatch Act and concludes that federal taxpayers ended up footing the bill for activities that were intended

Hahahahaha! If they really got serious about the Hatch Act, half the people in DC would be fined or in jail.

I don’t know what is the most pathetic thing here. 5 years int he making? It coming out now? will they continue the investigations into the current Administration? That these bearocrats have the gall to charge Taxpayers for all kinds of crap. I just don’t know.

His administration operated that way, at least.....

1. Pass a host of oppressive laws so that just going about normal business results in committing a crime.

2. Refuse to prosecute your political allies.

3. Strenuously prosecute your political opponents, or “enemies” as the president likes to call them.
