Obama intentionally did not mention gun control in his State of the Union, but aides say that in the next two weeks the administration will unveil a campaign to get Congress to toughen existing laws.
At the beginning of his State of the Union address, President Obama tipped his hat to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who’s now recuperating in a Houston medical facility. But throughout the hourlong speech, he never addressed the issue at the core of the Giffords tragedy—gun control—and what lawmakers would, or should, do to reform American firearm-access laws.
That was intentional, according to the White House. An administration official says Obama didn’t mention guns in his speech because of the omnipresent controversy surrounding the Second Amendment and gun control. Tuesday’s speech was designed to be more about the economy and how, as Obama repeated nine times, the U.S. could “win the future.”

So the only possible solution to this “problem” is to write more laws at the local, sate and national level. Right?
So the liberal/progressive/socialist/dimocrat/Rino/lawyer mind set is if one hundred laws don't work we will write 1,0000; 10,000; 100,000 new laws in hopes that one of them might work.

The opening barrage began this AM. National report on CBS about 21000 guns missing from gun dealers. Of course the number is BS. In the report the reporter cited the Brady Institute about a US lack of gun control. Next up, the head of ATF enforcement said he did not have enough staff to audit gun dealers more than once every ten years (complete BS). At that point I had yelled so many expletives at the TV, my wife turned it off citing I was about to have a seizure.

If it does not get repealed we are in trouble.
Let's say a few years down the road the CDC and the AMA come out and say that firearm deaths are a national crisis.
What do you think would happen next? What would you do if you were forced to pay a very high premium or remove firearms so that your family could receive treatment?
