I live in Amherst...where do I fall in the snow line?

I need my utility trailer to move my table saw and planer from the storage locker to my new shop.

Currently, my utility trailer is in snow up to its bed in my front yard.

Just west of Chicago and we are looking at 18-20 inches combined with incompetent government and people who don't know how to take care of themselves. Just like the Blizzard of 1979 all over again. Between that and foreign affairs it is like a flashback around here.

I will be selling my snow credits to Algore to help pay my get-away vacation cruise to the Caribbean. This scheme makes as much sense as Algore’s carbon credits. Besides, as a carbon-based life form, I’m entitled to make money off of other carbon-based life forms.

We are in Belvidere N.J. on the Delaware river 10 mi. south of the gap right where the river makes a big bend. We are purple & hope it stays that way.
Good luck all FReepers.
Great map.

I've only seen it a couple of times. It's a snow storm with some thunder and lightning. Really strange.

We had that last week, when the predicted 6-8 inches magically turned into 16-18 inches.

A big time Texas Snowstorm is coming together. Arctic Air from the north, warm Gulf moisture from the south with a Big Pacific Low right in the middle. When this low traveled over So Cal the past few days, it was not as cold as those storms in December. Could only barely see my breath in this one. The Ice Map looks to be a major concern. Could have 1 to 2 inches of Ice from OKC to New York City.

And after this beast gets through with half the country, more storms will form in its wake. Later in the week and next weekend might see snow in Houston. That later snow line looks to go as far west as the Salton Sea in Southern California. New Orleans may get some snow on the backside after the Arctic air is pulled down into Texas.

Thank God I listened when someone told me I should spend the extra $150 for an Ariens snowblower.

#%&#@!

I had to cancel ANOTHER service job because of this @!$%^&** global warming.

I simply refuse to drive on I-84 in New York in the snow.

People are crazy enough on sunny days in May on that wretched highway. Snow just makes ‘em crazier.

Then, they close the road.

I dealt with this #@%^& three weeks ago.

I’m not doing it again.

Spring cannot - I repeat - CANNOT come quickly enough.

"St Louis metro weather reporters predicting Thunder Snow. What on earth is that??? Guess, I’m going to find out soon. "

Thunder snow is pretty cool. We had some here in SE Pennsylvania last week. I didn't know it was in the forecast, and when I saw the first flash of lightning, initially I thought it was a fire or transformer blowing. The rumbles and lightning during a heavy snow are muted but dramatic nonetheless.
