Tom Vilsack, Obama's agriculture boss, used to fly around in a Monsanto corporate jet while governor of Iowa. During that same period he was also named "Governor of the Year" by the Biotechnology Industry Council.
Monsanto can’t be bad; they donate lots of money to politicians.
One of the few things government should do is prevent poisoning of the food supply. When government does too many things it should not do, it does not properly do the few things it should do.
We are standing on the edge of a Garden of Eden, with huge advances in the volumn and quality of food we produce just ahead.
Excellent news! The anti-food liberals will be pissed!

Yep and Monsanto and this genetically engineered food is going to bite us in the azz later on. They will control all foods.
They sneak/trespass to test fields of farmers, some who have never used their seeds, then sue the farmer when a plant that cross-pollinated naturally turns up in the farmers field.
It’s frightening to think about the implications of it all, really.

Kind of like those giant wind turbines that have been dubbed "bird smashers" killing thousands of raptorial birds annually.
GE foods will allow developed countries to provide adequate food supplies to the 3rd world, that cannot care for itself. And selfish, unscientific new-age libs oppose genetic engineering, yet push bogus global warming. Makes my head spin!
Consider the source. NaturalNews is a crackpot site with pretty much all the whacked conspiracy theories du jour.
Could you give is more than two sentences?
Others have said that is nothing but an internet rumor which gets posted one place, then repeated all over, but that it is nothing but a lie.
Maybe that story actually came from a documentary which interviews specific farmers in specific locations and which discusses just the type law suit mentioned. I watched this documentary on Hulu.com a few weeks back and that is where I heard of these specifics. Registration is fairly simple if anyone is interested enough watch it:
You think if we cross more pig genes with tomatoes, we could shop for less items for a nice BLT sandwich?
A Morgellon bump
Good thing they’re not using DDT to save human lives.
GM foods have been a great boon to the world in general and America in particular, and will continue to be. We can either remain at the forefront of this movement and profit thereby or stand astride the tide and shout “STOP!” and look the fool.
GMOs are going to feed the world, just as our hybrids have for the past 50 or 100 years.
In an era of solar cooling we are very lucky to have the ability to genetically modify crops. It will keep the price of food down.
This is more scary than a lot of other news today.
