Thanks...I had forgotten about that. I guess I'm down to two choices.
Donald Trump is Ross Perot, just sayin
Not only do you manufacture my position out of whole cloth, but you do it in a dorky cartoon voice.
Pass.
>Just like they cant ban drugs, sex, driving, marriage, working, guns, anti-aircraft missiles for kids I guess.
Technically they can’t, I’ll go on your list in reverse order:
1) anti-aircraft missiles for kids —> The second amendment says the “right of the people” there is *NO* qualifier on age.
2) guns —> See above.
3) working —> Nowhere in the Constitution is there a power to regulate who can and cannot work; however, forced working has been held to be slavery and minors, legally speaking, cannot give their consent {as that is given/withheld by their guardian} and so any non-familial labors are slavery; incidentally this means that kids being “forced to work” (clean their room, do chores) are not non-consensual because their guardian is the one consenting to their work.
4) Marriage —> see above.
5) Driving —> Not actually needed for interstate commerce; there are boats that cross state lines.
6) Sex —> *sigh* see #3.
7) Drugs —> Already mentioned in the post prior this; the Constitution *REQUIRED* an amendment to allow for national regulation of alcohol, no such non-repealed amendment exists for ANY drug whatsoever.
Apparently you can’t read, I said that *IF* that was all that you had it was pretty weak... if you have more, or something different, then by all means present it.
Where in the Constitution does it state that minors can’t give consent?
Your the one citing the Constitution here.
11 year old drug addicted well-armed prostitutes would not violate the Constitution would they?
Thats why we elect lawmakers, to MAKE LAWS.
But the laws themselves MUST be within the confines of the relevant Constitution.
Your example of a “11 year old drug addicted well-armed prostitutes” is fairly amusing, and they would [very likely] violate the Constitution, being minors and forced into prostitution is a form of slavery; further, the States *DO* have legal powers above and beyond the federal government (hence the 9th and 10th Amendments) and most ALL of what you said in your example could/should be addressed by State law.
I’ll take a rain-check on the dope debate. Maybe on a slower news day.
who said she was forced?
Where in the Constitution does it say minors can’t do that stuff?
>who said she was forced?
I said it was “very likely,” as in “not completely certain.”
Statically speaking underaged prostitutes tend to be slaves.
>Where in the Constitution does it say minors cant do that stuff?
Which is why I referred you to the state’s Constitution which likely DOES limit those things, though perhaps indirectly.
Uh, let me guess; someone with no name recognition?
You forgot supporters of Gary Johnson, Former NM Governor.
