Many tanks for the link, dragnet2.

I plan to watch Dr. Paul's CPAC speech in the morning when I can be more wide-awake.

(It's kind of unnerving to some, I think, to see the dramatic change in opinion wrt Ron Paul among Republicans and even some Democrats who are waking up to the fact that they've been lied to by their government for generations. The Great Recession may have something to do with it, don't you think? And the Tea Parties, for sure. And the creation of sites like Facebook and Twitter--more so than blogging sites like this one and Lucianne--which spread breaking news in near-realtime. Didn't have much of that leading up to the last presidential election, so the MSM was still in full control. Just my thoughts, FWIW.)

You're welcome.

As I've been saying, even those drooling in cups seem to be waking and now understand, it's the government and those in government that have nearly destroyed America, our economy, our sovereignty, left our borders in a state of lawlessness and incrementally choked off our freedoms....This has been going on for *years*.....

Just be advised, many of those working for government and or are benefiting from government are right here, on this site, and many have absolutely no desire to see their interest threatened...

Many have been profiting off America being the global cop for many years, all while Americans watch their economy, sovereignty, and standard of living die on the floor...

The Great Recession may have something to do with it, don't you think? And the Tea Parties.

Yes...In good times few noticed or cared government employees were treated as sector bosses instead of public servants, as they were being showered with opulent benefits, and tax paid lottery style retirement benefits..

Hopefully, all this is coming to an end for them in the future...It might take a few more years, but many are waking to this titanic fraud and betrayal of government at ALL levels.

BTW, like Paul said, the government's idea of foreign aid is to take from the poor in a rich country and give it the rich in a poor country...

Just like the guy in Egypt Mubarak...The U.S. gave that fat little mobster dictator $70,000,000,000...He's stuffed Swiss accounts with our tax dollars and lived like a God...

Our government is gang raping us!

Enough!

U.S. can still be the baddest, most powerful country on earth, but in a *defensive* aspect...Not was the global copper. That strategy is killing America and it's economy. We are not the president of the worlds home owners association...

Can you show some links that support your claim.

No thanks. Your claim is preposterous.

There is no credible source to validate your lazy assertion.

You deny we’ve give nearly $70,000,000,000 in tax dollars in the form of foreign aid to the dictator who was running Egypt?

Yes or no?

Over a 30 year period, we have give approximately 1.5 Billion per year to the government of Egypt.

Virtually all of this aid was in the form of military hardware and a small amount of “democoracy assistance”.

You know, the same military that just told Mubarak to hit the road.

This reality is a far cry from your assertion that we gave this money to Mubarak.

The money was given to buy Weapons, Jet Fighters, Military equipment and to help maintain the Canal Zone, and was all accounted for by US Envoys appointed by Reagan and Bush.

But you can claim Mubarak took all the money himself and channeled it to his personal bank account in Switzerland if you want. Mindless rhetoric like yours is typical of all Paul fanatics.

That pretty much sums up your obscure thought processes in a nut shell (Heavy on the nut.)

RE: “Which CPAC did you watch? More like fudgepackers and stupid college students useful idiots that Ron Paul paid, bussed in and fed for the event.”

*********************

I watched NONE of it — was merely commenting based on what I’ve read here on FR. For Ron Paul to win a straw poll speaks volumes. I have no use for Paul or his followers. His SON, on the other hand, seems somewhat OK.

On radio here in L.A. this a.m. it was stated that only about a fourth of the CPAC attendees even VOTED in the straw poll. Much ado about nothing.

RE” Dont play coy with me

You seem angry..I didn’t write this article...

Ron Paul buses these college students and pays for everything. The local college leftists attend that stupid event since it free and they can disrupt the event and stuff the ballot box for Paul

Liberals??

The man in #37 said Paul supporters were far right wing zealots...

#37..Seems to me a number of CPAC attendees are little more than very far right zealots”

***********

I’m the one who said they didn’t sound like garden variety Republicans to me and could be far right zealots. I know next to nothing about these people but I have just learned that some former classmates of mine from the sixties — staunch leftists — but all over the place in their views — love Ron Paul, so yeah, I guess Paul bussed in his fan club. I don’t mind his son, Rand, from what I’ve heard. Is he nuts, too?

Oh that's right, your hero Mubarak the dictator gave the $70,000,000,000 in U.S. tax dollars to the ghetto dwellers in Cairo...Right rbmiller?

He wouldn't stuff his Swiss accounts with billions in U.S. tax dollars, would be rbmillerjr?

Your initial preposterous assertion was that we “gave the fat dictator...70Billion”. That was a lazy and incorrect assertion. Now your shifting sands to another contention.

Ron Paul nuts aren’t qualified to be my inquisitor.

1.5 Bill per year...a drop in the bucket and most of that was contingent on the Egyptian/Israeli Peace Treaty. You may remember that Sadat was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood and Mubarak came to power via the military.

That 1.5 Billion per year provides mostly military hardware and didn’t go to Mubarak personally, which was your original conspiracy Ron Paul assertion.

Listen, you’re out of you league...just stop embarrassing yourself.
