Everybody seems to be focusing on Benefits and Collective bargaining rights in Wisconsin, but the dirty little secret is Government deducting Union Dues from Public Employee paychecks. Once they quit doing that, those unions will die a slow death. They call it a “Checkoff” and it is the one sacred cow that the Union always demands in negotiations

Since Imus was off today, I watched Joe again this AM and saw that exchange. Joe did stand up for the right side on this; my problem with him is that he often allows the lefties’ ridiculous statements go unchallenged. I DVRed this whole show, looks like a doozy. Compassionate Mika :”Some of those people are hurting and don't feel like they are being heard.” You remember Mika saying this about the Tea Party protesters?

That is one of the major problems with all of these 24-hour news programs. Their 'hosts' and commentators, many times, don't even know what is going on. That is despicable, considering that these 'hosts' and commentators are supposed to be the conveyors of information.

I think you gave Mika too much credit. She didn't totally retract, she said "That's a fair point" to the concept that the signs would be repeatedly shown on the State Run Media if this was a conservative protest.

She'd still defend the protest, saying, as she did, that there were also good signs.

Finally, I don't even buy she didn't see the signs with the crosshairs and with Hitler references. She's a newsie. They see these things. If I see them, and I'm only a news junkie, she would definitely see them.

She's still a vile little ferret-faced weasel.
