This is from the pre-Hayward band in the Denny Laine days. It is poorly engineered with the microphone pots kept far too high. Laine’s voice distorts badly.

In this picture, the side is propped up with a short piece of 1x2. It's now screwed to the floor.

In the current era, Hayward does most of the lead singing. However, on occasion John Lodge and Ray Thomas would sing lead.

In their earlier era, they distributed lead singing duties evenly.
