Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee came out in defense of President Barack Obama and his professed Christian faith on Thursday.
During a press briefing at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Huckabee criticized the debates over Obama's religion and birthplace as "useless" and "unnecessary."
"I know for some people that is an obsession but it's not with me," said the Southern Baptist.
With rare public appearances at churches on Sundays and a smaller percentage of Americans (34 percent, according to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life) who believe the president is a Christian, debate continues to loom over Obama's faith.
Weighing in on the debate, Huckabee stated, "He has personally articulated not once, but numerous times of his Christian faith. I take him at his word. I have no reason not to.
"For us to continue to dwell on that to me is missing the point."posted using frpa

The reason there was not a howl from the Clinton camp was that both camps were directly being staged and supported by the Soros cabal. Hillary and Bill were told to keep quiet and be good troopers or else. I suspect that McCain’s political phoenex rise from the primary ashes was also at least a reflection of the Soros cabel’s (it is not all Soros in an international framework)effort and influence. Palin was the all american cover for the cabel.

A. Call up any number of my friends and relatives and just hold the phone to my ear, or
B. Turn on the tube and punch in any random channel. I don't need Fox to report what's already out there ad nauseum.

Obama appears to be, at best, what the Catholic sometimes call a C&E. That is a Christmas and Easter Christian. He has not records of baptism, a common trait among Christians. But as Huckaby says - “we will take him at his word”. That is becoming a common theme where the documented facts do not match the known truth with this administration.
We also do KNOW that Obama had 2 Muslim fathers and we do know he was registered as a Muslim in primary schools in Indonesia. We know he has been trained that there are 57 states (57 Muslim states), he can quote the Quran verbatim without looking, he read passages from the Quran in perfect speech. So yes - he was formal trained in Islamic ways. Of that there is no doubt. But given the almost crazy situation as a child it is hard to call out the ‘Muslim card’ as an issue as an adult.
The more damning issue is the outright lying when the ‘Obama was a Muslim’ hit the media and blogs in 2007. Gibbs lied. The press lied. Just so many lies on the issue.
Gibbs January 2007 statement was a lie. The fact that Grandma Obama is still a practicing Muslim, the actual marriage date of Lolo Soetoro and Stanley Ann Dunham, the registration of Obama as a Muslim in the Indonesian School. All lied about or misrepresented in the press and by this administration.
Instead of dealing with the issue open and honestly when it came up during the critical election cycle they covered it up, they lied, they shredded the facts. This tell us the character of this administration. It maybe this same failure face facts that hurts them in numerous areas of leadership for our country.
And why does the spell checker insist on capitalizing "marxism?"
