I prefer to think you’re right.
You’d certainly have tons of folks agreeing with you.
However, it seems to me that over history, stranger things have happened.
And this is the era when THE BIBLE says that it will be worse than ever has been and worse than ever will be again in the future of the world.
I don’t think it’s a big thing for God to play with the crust of the earth . . . nor for HIM to allow evil forces to do so.
How precious! Thank you so much for the penguin link!
Actually, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is roughly the same elevation as Flagstaff.
The Grand Canyon Village is in the neighborhood of 6,800+ and other areas along the South Rim can range up to around 7,000 feet. IIRC, the North Rim may be a bit higher.
Topo maps are available here:

The “Navy Map” does not bother with what may end up to be islands in such seas.
I’ve seen several prophetic sources assert that the Grand Canyon will be destroyed.
Certainly we can expect major quakes in the END TIMES.
And, it is likely there will be some major earth areas sinking and some rising. Scripture speaks of every island being moved and every mountain moved. And it sounds like there’ll be at least one major quake felt in devastating terms all around the planet.
I just want to be constatnly ready to meet and go with my Lord Jesus The Christ—King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Never made that connection...hmm.

We see through a glass darkly . . .
Yet, . . . sometimes . . . SOMEtimes
God seems to use virtually every channel possible to warn even sinners, pagans . . . of coming doom.
Nevertheless only HIS WORD
and HIS AUTHENTIC refined, purified, humble prophets are reliable.
imho
