NYT MONDAY 'FLOATS' FOXNEWS/BECK BREAKUP... DEVELOPING...
CARR: People who work for Beck point out he could live without network...
Indy, I’m still waiting for you to post something from the article stating something that Beck is leaving? If you are going to call me dense and stupid, I would hope you have something to back it up other than the title of an opinion/hit piece, otherwise you are the one looking a bit foolish at this point.
I’m a Frantzie clone? That can’t be. I have cable.
I don't have any TV reception, and won't subscribe to cable or satellite, so I purposefully select what I watch and view it via the 'net.
Beck's is one of the very few efforts I choose to watch. I don't know Greta. Is she comparable?
Thank you Holly for speaking up for choice.
Every show on Fox and MSNBC and CNN is a back and forth dog and cat fight. What is wrong with one show that presents history without soundbites ? Is it too much for everyone’s attention span? Whether you agree with it or not?
Hannity is a total bore. O’Reilly is “The Bore.” Forget Shep and Geraldo. I need something substantive and Beck is that if nothing else - agree or not.
At least he makes me think as does Rush.
Cavuto is also good. So is Stoessel. Greta gets deep.
And Red Eye is the bomb!
Please no Lou Dobbs - he is too full of himself and not that smart.
No, she’s not. But she has the third best show on Fox (after Beck and Brett Baier).
“Theres really nowhere else to go with this.”
So fish or cut bait.
I’m hitting the sack.
Glad you liked it. My husband showed it to me yesterday, and thought seemed appropriate for this thread.
I wouldn’t say comparable, as Beck seems to teach as he goes. His programs are more thematic.
Greta is more of what we at one time refered to as a journalist. She digs, and portrays the truth she uncovers... very unconventional for public news media.
First of all that article was from almost 2 mos ago so I can’t see it as being related. At all.
Secondly, if it was then Bill O’screamer should get a time out after the way he bellowed at Don Rumsfeld Friday night. I tuned in just to watch Mr. Rumsfeld and was shocked at the way he was treated, to the point that I looked up Billy the Bombastic’s email and let him know what I thought of his professionalism.
Either way, Fox was great at one time, now Fox is trying to hard to be PC that they are losing viewership. We don’t want PC platitudes. Conservative viewpoint, News that is NOT biased to the left. Not kowtowing to whatever liberal loon happens to be making news....sheesh you’d think they’d have learned this lesson already.
Down by Kanab? Hope that works out, I’d enjoy driving down.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Beck provides SO much info that it gets overwhelming and a bit scary sometimes. But, imho, it’s more scary to put our heads in the sand.
If a man’s years are measured by his words, then Hannity would be a 14yr old monotone numbskull, because he is just a constant repetition of himself.
I'm referring to something like a Van Jones or Muslim Brotherhood Egypt revelation.
“a New Cable Conservative Channel”
Best ‘Idea Post’ on this thread.
We certainly have no dearth of talent and informative presenters.
You can add Jonah Goldberg, Mark Steyn, Brent Bozell, Walter Williams, John Fund, Wes Pruden, Jim Pinkerton, Cal Thomas, Monica Crowley, David Limbaugh, Herman Cain, Neal Boortz, Michael Barone, Howie Carr, Ann Coulter, Larry Kudlow, Victor Davis Hanson, Michael Reagan, Tony Blankley, Dennis Prager, Paul Greenberg, Matt Towery, Larry Elder, Byron York, Chris Stirewalt, Stephen Hayes,Laura Ingraham, Bill Sammon, Brit Hume, Nina Easton, Charles Krauthammer, and Chatsworth Osborne Jr.
Maybe we could even channel Tony Snow and Attila the Hun.

You are right. I left out a lot of good people. Now don't tell me people with all the names listed, a Conservative Cable Channel wouldn't be a gangbusters hit, especially if all the people mentioned really got excited about the idea and clamored to 'get in'. Can't you just see the initial brainstorming meetings, "I've got an idea, how about this?" There's a lot of conservative talent out there. Lets put them all together and knock the pants off all the MSM combined!
Hey Donald, may I join the team? I get jazzed up just thinking about the idea. : )
These guys are PHONIES!
Really? You honestly think Gerry Rivers makes more money than Beck for FNC? I'm not saying you should look at the books, just use your logic and reasoning skills.
I just found out that fox didn’t renew E.D Hill contract.
I thought she left to be more at home.
She said something bad about Obama, and they let her go!
What’s up with fox?
well the Saudis probably put their foot down,
