He never covers hardly breaking news in the last couple of years, .
He went crying to get an interview with obama.
He seems to have fell in love with obama and the best one is when he knows obama was born in HI because a newspaper he did not produce had an announcement, WTH.

I'm impressed by the number of posts this thread has generated, considering that it is based on little more than an anti-Beck hit-piece in the New York Times that floats a supposition without any basis in fact. I'm perturbed by the number of posts criticizing Glenn Beck for any number of fairly specious things; he cries, he repeats himself, etc, as if Rush and every conservative commentator doesn't do something we can find fault with. The downright animosity shown toward Glenn Beck by a few posters is unfortunate, but, hey, it's the internet. Same with the sniping between a few posters, which is also de rigueur on internet message boards. Thus it ever was.

The speculation as to the reason 'Beck is leaving Fox News' - a supposition not backed by evidence - is as amusing as it is diverse and often shows the poster's bias more than anything else, i.e. Beck's religion, his crying, apocalyptic views, etc.

I see the New York Times piece as mere wishful thinking on the part of a liberal writer publishing in a liberal newspaper. The left hates Glenn Beck, has called him 'crazy' for years and would love to see his audience dwindle and the right abandon him. Despite the flavor of negativity on this thread , I doubt that will happen, as much as the left would enjoy seeing it. Just as the left constantly calls Sarah Palin 'stupid' - and some Americans do buy into that meme - she is not going to disappear and neither is Glenn Beck. However, the hostility toward Beck and Fox News shown by some of the posts on this website dedicated to political/cultural conservatives is revealing. Apparently, for some, nobody is ever 'conservative' enough. Oh, well.

I’ll apologize for dense and stupid comment, I’m really sorry about that. It was a brain fart. Obviously, the link was erroneous, wrong. I was going off the original story.

Beck has health issues, and I won’t miss if his show is canceled on fox, the original article said he was leaving, obviously, I’m not a beck fan, and would love it if he was off the air. IMO, he’s just making money. The more power too him.

You Beckites need to wake up, Beck did good, but he’s not the real dead, he’s in it for the cash. Listen to Levin for real conservative analysis.

Interesting post... thanks. I've mostly been missing Beck's TV show lately because I'm not always home between 5-6pm, and I don't have a DVR yet. ;-)

However, the shows I've seen lately have been fairly depressing. Others have been very uplifting, though... perhaps he's trying to strike sort of a balance.

In any event, I hope Beck stays put at FNC at 5-6pm (or maybe 8pm?). He's a treasure...

I will concede you Howie Carr, but I think Monica Crowley is fantastic. She is precocious and quick on the response and she looks great.

She slays Eleanor Clift and Alan Colmes with ease.
Sadly, Crowley’s sister married Colmes.
No place to be for Thanksgiving at the dinner table.

By the way, do you happen to know where Mike McConnell is and if his podcasts are available? I kind of go for his acerbic send-offs.
