I can't see Fox dumping him unless there's some behind the scenes pressure.

Saudi Oil

He has howled endlessly about an advertising boycott supposedly inspired by that devil from hell, Van Jones.

That is why he rambles on about Jones on almost every show. He seems to obsess about him.

There’s nothing about that on foxnews.com, the Blaze, or Beck’s website...

I’m with you until proven wrong.....

Many people still don’t get it. They think this is just another bad administration and the election of an R is going to solve it.

They should give Judge Nepolitono Becks spot, Beck has become impossible to watch.

Van Jones has worked a very effective boycott against Beck.

His groups "Color for Change" & "Stop Beck" are the reasons you only see "Buy Gold" commercials on Glenn Beck's show.

The boycott against Beck has made him toxic.

You are all missing it...

I posted here a week or so ago when Oprah was loosing $ that he would buy her channel on the cheap when she goes chapter 11.

Too soon for that, but He is following her business model.

IMHO he wants his own empire, he has a website, a radio show, the Insiders and now "The Blaze".

It is not enough for him, he is driven. My guess he is looking to lauch his own channel on cable or the Web.

He is constantly hinting on the radio show of new things.

My gut tells me we haven't seen the last of him, he will appear on his own channel, whether it is cable, space-based, internet based ( my guess the latter) is yet to be seen.

Bingo!

Has he ever explained the use of “Mercury?”

The first thing that comes to mind is Orson Welles’ “Mercury Theatre” and the “War of the Worlds” scare.

Beck is okay, but he’s become very preachy, apocalyptic and sort of disjointed. He rambles between a connection here and link there, and doesn’t stay focused long enough for it to mean anything. One gets the impression watching his show that he believes end times are upon us and that absolutely nothing good can come out of pretty much anything.

His seemingly overwhelmingly negative view of the revolutions in North Africa and the Middle East, that they are somehow entirely Islamo/Marxist driven events is dubious. Yes, there are some links and connections with radical Islamists and far left groups, but they are but a piece of the puzzle. He is completely right to be wary and concerned, but he doesn’t seem to allow for the possibility that any this will all turn out okay in the long run.

I get the impression that he has become more a preacher warning of the apocalypse than of a news commentator.

I suspect a lot of the Republican establishment and maybe some movement conservatives are concerned that Beck has become a little weird and don’t want to be associated with him as much. Perhaps they are communicating this to Ailes.

I should think so.

Someoe is trying to create news.

American media projects ecoplasm. The blue rays of television lights are the projectile vomit that blows $hit.

There is Beck, Malkin, Geller, Louden, Steyn, a bit of Cavuto, Drudge and the occasional other source. Then there is media. FR knows that the media blows, and nobody knows like we.

Beck is best when he is connecting the dots.

I watch Fox because they are right half the time. They could save a lot of money by getting a bobble head doll of DumBO with a sign that says “Bush’s fault” whenever they need comment from their balanced side.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath and consider the source of this story:

The NEW YORK TIMES.

On a MONDAY morning.

If those two phrases aren’t enough, never forget that NYT isn’t above skulduggery to dig up a “fake but accurate” report on anyone conservative.

This story needs to be taken with a HUGE grain of salt. NYT is one of the most untrustworthy papers around.

That IS the focus!

Google “White Horse Prophecy Joseph Smith 1843.” Read that and Beck’s whole schtick will come into focus for you.

He is pushing fringe Mormon prophecy. He can’t disclose that publicly, a couple LDS “elders” have informed me, because if he did he might find himself excommunicated.

And Glenn wouldn’t like that...the Church has helped to keep him on the wagon but without them, who knows?

Count me in with you two.
Seems to be an effort out there to start a groundswell that Beck is finished (IMO, similar to the BS stories of how the economy is recovering)

This is the title up on Drudge now ----NYT MISCHIEF MONDAY: 'FLOATS' FOXNEWS/BECK BREAKUP... DEVELOPING...

Maybe NYT playing games. Beck's investigative reporting has been great lately. He recently covered Van Jones involvement pushing propaganda on children in New York Schools. He also covered this: FBI Raids Home of Obama Associate & Radical AAAN Leader in Terrorism Sweep

the left doesn't like sunlight, the pressures on FOX and Beck must be intense.
