“Geesh, I was wanting to hear about Wisconsin.”

It’s Greta’s feature story. Now one of the absent Dems, Spencer Coggs, is on the phone whining that it was “illegal” for the Repubs to vote on this because they didn’t have 24 hours notice. Greta’s reading the rules saying that no prior notice is required (although 2 hours notice WAS given, plenty of time for them to return). LOL - seems to me they had over two weeks’ notice!

Boehner and all the Repubs (especially those in the Senate) better learn to fight fire with fire, ‘cause the Dems are out for blood now.

Once again Greta’s show is the class of Fox.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I couldn’t agree more. She runs circles around BOR and Hannity.

Got some of the news on Wisconsin from Greta. MSNBC is all whine fest. CNN is all Libya as I keep saying.

“The commercial will write itself.”

I think you’re right. Besides, it’s not gracious to brag or gloat - especially since this thing’s not over. So we won one battle, but there’s the bigger war. SW still has to get the rest of what he’s trying to accomplish.

In the immortal words of The Gambler, “there’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done”.

“Greta VanSusteren (who is from Wisconsin) said she will be covering what is happening there and the tension rising tonight.”

Gretta sounding like a socialist tonight!

To be fair, most of the shows are discussing at some length the Peter King congressional hearings tomorrow on Muslim radicalization in the U.S., a VERY important event, one that the world will be watching, and critical to our country’s security and fate.

Hannity, who I usually don’t watch, had Ann Coulter on there screaming about Christie.

I half expected Hannity to have Newt on so Newt could explain to everyone that it was his love of country that made him have an affair...and, that would've torn it for me and Hannity.

Ann Coulter is a whole lot better.

I never go to Fox for news until I have gotten the story on Free Republic.

FR is THE PLACE for news.

Very often, I find myself yelling "This is old news!!!" at O'Reilly and Hannity when they finally cover something.

It is unfortunate but I only turn to the “news” to laugh at its incompetence and bias.

"Greta sounding like a socialist tonight."

At last. You're the first to nail it.

Greta was not a happy camper tonight. She came on the air tight-lipped and stony-faced. She didn't like what the Republicans did. Tobin didn't either.

O'Reilly's body language gal would have had a field day analyzing their movements.....

....of which there were none. Their bodies were tightened up with faces like two sphinxes.

Believe me, despite the facade of neutrality, they were with "da peeple" tonight, not the Pubbies.

RE :”because those shows are taped ahead of time.

Hannity had more important stories tonight than this:

‘Porn Star Teacher Fired ‘ is the news story debate on Hannity. 9:57 pm EST

“Fox is very poor in covering live news.”

Gee, I think (except for Shep Smith) they have very good journalists. Quite often, whenever a really major news story is going on, their shows will all be live, continuous coverage (even the pundits). I believe most, if not all, their actual news shows are done live, anyway. A lot of people forget that BOR, Hannity and Beck (who does his live) are NOT news shows. Technically, even Greta’s is considered commentary (although her background is in journalism).

Fox/Ailes have had a real knack for attracting some very talented, respected folks. Brit Hume, Bernie Goldberg (both long-time, award-winning, prior news anchors), John Stossel, Lou Dobbs, Don Imus, Steve Forbes, Greta VanSustern and a ton of others.

No kidding. Fox hardly ever has actual news. All their programming is talking heads discussing politics. I hate to do it, but I sometimes watch CNN just to see what is going on in Libya, etc.

If you watch the “crawl” under the talking heads it is almost exactly the same as all the other cable stations.

I have no problem with any of their talk shows and don’t expect news out of them though I would trust it more. Fox is barely conservative over all though and manages to ignore the same things the rest of the media does and highlight the same things it does.

But my beef with the live coverage has nothing to do with the real content as much as it does news “sense” and ability to show it developing.

It is also true that Fox is newer than the others and may not have the technical production ability that they do.

“What I find strange is that During Glenn Becks show they ALWAYS tend to interrupt him with unimportant “Breaking News”

Well, I’ll tell you who interrupts GB as often as possible these days - Obama with his pressers, “remarks”, etc. (and Fox feels duty-bound to always cover them - guess if they didn’t, they’d catch hell from the libs). Glenn’s sometimes joked about it - his show’s live, so as soon as one of BHO’s media opps are done, he (GB) jokes wryly that it’s strange Obama always seems to pick 5 pm (est) to give a speech or press conference.

“That’s why I hate shep, he editorializes and claims balance just like the msm.”

He certainly does, AND his editorializing is almost always Liberal. He thinks he’s just too cool for school. I can’t stand the guy. Rumor has it that he was always bad-mouthing Glenn Beck (jealous, I’m sure).
