A Christian author and national speaker has just released a video in which he flays radio and TV commentator Glenn Beck as a pagan, New Age "anti-Christ" who is deluding many believers away from the Bible's teachings and leading them toward Eastern mysticism.

Beck should stick to politics. When he’s “preaching”, he IS promoting New Age spiritualism, “the god within”, etc.
Your last sentence was right on the money.
. . .and realize, of course, those differences do not make one an 'Antichrist'. Nor does referencing 'Buddha wisdom'; Confucius or the Tao make one an Antichrist.
Howse is on thin ice here; just underneath is a similar MO by Shariah-mad Muslims who believe that everyone 'an infidel' per those who do not accept Koran in same manner, they do and so ascribe to them a threatening name.
(And while all Muslims may believe this; some at least, differ on the consequences).

This is why I stated that I do not agree 100% with what Beck says. Particularly, in the area of religion, Beck has a very telling lack (though I also believe that Beck is a sincere and good man). I am fully aware of what Mormons believe.....though I really do not consider it to be New Age as such. Additionally, I applaud Beck for bringing a number of issues to light. I take what is good and leave the rest to God. I agree that prayer for him is essential.....and prayer is tremendously powerful. I pray for his protection....and further enlightenment. ;-)

No one questions his conservatism/libertarian view. What need to be pointed out to CHRISTIANS (and seekers) is that Glenn Beck is leading them away from Christ (not on politics, but ‘spiritually’).
If you don’t like it, or you aren’t a Christian (or seeker) then fine, go about your business!~

Please tell me how Beck is deliberately leading people away from Christ? Is this just because he is a Mormon? I personally have seen him talking to people about having faith, helping others, being moral. How is this anti-Christ?
Obama isn’t “the anti-Christ”, and you are crazy to believe he is. He certainly holds some weird views, and needs to be defeated politically, but I pray for Him, and I should for Beck that they are both saved (at some time in the future/present).
Beck trying to act like any kind of “Billy Graham” is exactly what this post (and this pastor’s warning) was about!
If this is what Glenn claims,(something I don't know for sure), then it is called Pelagianism.
By definition, Pelagianism is the belief that original sin did not taint human nature and that mortal will is still capable of choosing good or evil without special Divine aid.
New Age spirituality has much in common with the old heresy.
