Army doctor Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is accused of killing 13 people

Army doctor Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is accused of killing 13 14 people

Let political correctness in the military finally die a quick and agonizing death. Thank God .. at least some accountability to those who saw and heard the demon's rantings and put saving face or weakness above preventing mayhem and the massacre of our precious troops (and one baby in the womb).

The leadership failure began and continues at the White House.

No one spoke up because they would have been accused of bias against a mooslim. Political correctness is a cancer in our country.

The military is pursuing scapegoats. This definitely a ‘top down’ problem, not a ‘bottom up’ one. They need to scour the Pentagon of all Islamicists.

Good. I was afraid this would get swept under the carpet.

With nine being punished I assume the writers of those bogus efficiency reports will face some consequences.

I’m not happy to see that General George Casey is not at the top of that list.

Damned if you do, Damned if you don't. I believe either way they would've been in trouble.
His actions and writings should have been placed on his record regardless.

It would be a further outrage if they weren’t.

Most of the military personnel who failed to report on crazy ol'Doc Ignatz were his fellow officers at Walter Reid.

The Washington Post is also guilty in this one. They had many reporters on the scene while Hassan was there and the "posties" didn't report anything amiss with this guy who worked right there in the middle of the Psychiatric Outpatient Center where they were.

The "posties" found some bad paint and plaster though, so we must presume they discovered the mad dog killer wandering about as a Major. Their notes would be interesting.

I won't be satisfied until we see some of the "posties" in prison ~ they are probably complicit in Hassan's hate filled journey ~ might have even agreed with him.

They certainly would not have had the close and frequent contact and exposure to Maj. Hasan and his abundantly obvious jihadism. Plus, where’s the regular security checks in the military of their own? All PC scared .. and cannot be tolerated any longer.

Yeah I think punishing these officers won’t do much when the policies will continue to come from above.

If an American soldier had shown nazi sympathies during WWII, I suspect he would have been “killed in action”.

That’s exactly why nothing was done, now they’ll be the scapegoats.

I agree, the problem stems from the top, but it’s still a good start. Maybe officers will now think twice about being politically correct no matter what.

The rule was to let Muslims in the military get away with practically anything rather than be accused of being mean to Muslims. Now, it will at least be seen that there will be a downside for letting someone like Malik slip through the cracks.

"Damned if you do, Damned if you don't. I believe either way they would've been in trouble."

You're right about that. I would bet just about anything that if his rater and senior rater had reflected reality on Hassan's OER, they would have been told to *re-write* it, and if they had refused to do so, their careers would have stagnated.
