Yeah, what is it about BK and an inability to take correct orders? Every time we stop there (my wife likes the slop), they screw up the order. Not to mention the awful food.
P.S. As an interesting sidenote to this thread, my wife grew up in England and loves BK.

Actually shepherds pie, cornish pasty, and even the lowly bangers and mash although not haute cuisine, are all pretty good meals. Of course, with plenty of ketchup.

Concurring bump. Galatoire's, steak bearnaise or steak marchand de vin, take your choice, then get back to us. How about some "steak, same-day". FRESH Angus on the grill. You gotta have a steak of your choice, the size of a toilet seat lid, at my place, before you give out first place.

Between 1989 and 2002 Burger King was owned by British companies.

If I were employed by Burger King, I wouldn’t be saying things about bad food. They’re the worst burger franchise out there. The best, by far...they cook their burgers over real fire, not a hot plate, and they make their sandwich with the best of ingredients. I think the whopper junior for a buck is the best sandwich buy in the country.....I have begun to use Subway a little more lately, but I will reserve judgement on them a little while longer

Hmmm...
I was there in 2007 and there were plenty of hotties and we ate well. I can only comment on what I experienced.
I was prepared for the worst and came away pleasantly surprised.

British food is not terrible as much as it is boring. Some women are ugly some are not but they all seem to have bad teeth.
