JUNEAU, Alaska Sarah Palin is extending her trip abroad with a planned stop in Israel.
She is scheduled to deliver a keynote address Saturday night during the India Today Conclave in New Delhi and says she plans to travel to Israel on her way back to the United States.

She'll make a lot of news if she shows up there. Barry will not be happy being shown up like that. Expect mucho more narrative polls and hit pieces.
Right On!
Maybe she could swing over to Japan?
AWESOME news! I have family in Israel and they think very highly of Sarah Palin. Obama is not liked in Israel at all(Gee I wonder why) Sarah is visiting our allies while Obama is picking NCAA brackets..can 2012 arrive soon enough
See post #21.
Right On! Wonder if a trip to Japan is next on her schedule, because Lord knows Obama is messing that relationship up as well.
Going to Japan? Oh that would be terrific!!! Are there plans to show the India Speech by chance??? MSNBC picking it up :) jk
Hmmm, does she need an interpreter?
What if Obama is offended at Israel welcoming Sarah Palin as a friend and potential ally and the communist responds by taking it out on Israel, distancing our government from our historic ally, treating Netanyahu like an enemy, and supporting those who hate Israel. Oh, never mind, no one would notice the change if Obama took offense.
Normally I oppose non-officials meeting with the leaders of other countries, be it Jesse Jackson or Sean Penn or Bill Clinton or whoever. But in this case, this is valuable experience for Sarah if she does decide to run - it would help eliminate the “no foreign policy experience”/”she doesn’t know anything about foreign affairs” arguments that would inevitably come up. And it draws a sharp contrast to the kind of hostility we’ve seen towards some of our traditional allies under the Obama administration. Which, of course, we were ridiculed for predicting all the way back in the ‘08 campaign.
This is treading dangerously close to violations of the Logan Act as well...
I know Obama isn't doing his job with regards to diplomacy, but I hope Palin has all her ducks in a row when making a visit and talking to a Prime Minister of one of our allies.
Flame away.. I don't care. I'm being objective.
Does she really think shed get the US Jewish vote?
US Jews vote Arafat party 10 out of 10 times in the US.
EXCELLENT!!!
good news ping
Yeah, but what Americans REALLY want to kow is:
Has she filled out her NCAA brackets yet, and what does she think of Kansas’s depth?
Just ask anyone at CNN,CBS, ABC,NPR and NBC!!!
She’s a private citizen visiting on her own time. Palin isn’t an elected official nor is she ‘negotiating’ on behalf of her country. Logan Act doesn’t apply here.
Whether she will or not I don't think makes a difference to her. She's not pandering here. It's the love of Israel that is the motivator not the potential for votes, unlike, well, unlike 99.9% of other politicians.
And what is she negotiating here exactly?
Better yet, admit Israel as the 51st (or is it 58th) state....I’m sure that BHO & Co. would do as much for the new state as he does for AZ!
You are way off base! What are you thinking??
Sarah is a private citizen and not even a presidential candidate!- she can talk to Benjamin about what’s going on in the world....there is not going to be a plot against the current administration if she tell him what her opinions are
