Mike Pence, RINO, waffles on Hannity (defunding Obamacare)

Posted on 03/17/2011 3:18:31 PM PDT by JimWayne

I was listening to Sean Hannity's program and Mike Pence was on the show. Hannity asked him about the media reports about GOP battling its own right wing. Pence took the side of those NOT supporting the members who want to get rid of the $105B funding of Obamacare. That is, he does not support Bachmann's proposal.

He claimed he wanted to pick a fight, and that in 3 weeks he would be among those delivering the goods. Hannity specifically asked him if he would defund Obamacare in 3 weeks by opposing the $105 billion funding it has now. At this point he waffled and spoke on No Child Left Behind, TARP and Medicare and said that he would be united with other Republicans.

Hannity pushed him but to no avail. All he would say was that GOP would keep its pledge of going back to the 2008 levels.

When Hannity asked him why GOP was not supporting those who wanted to defund Obamacare, he spoke about how they made noises in the media and he praised Boehner and Eric Cantor as great leaders.

I had nothing against Mike Pence until now, but he has shown himself to be a RINO.

Tactics versus strategy, that is what you have going on here.

Yeah right!
TACTIC: FOOL THE TEA PARTY!
STRATEGY: BE A RINO AND WORK WITH LIBERALS!

He’s going to run for governor of Indiana in 2012 to succeed Mitch Daniels.

That is what he said on Hannity. Small mercies that this RINO will not run for POTUS. He does not deserve support for Governor. A Tea Party candidate should run for Governor.

These guys are so frustratingly weak. I hope the USA54 pull off some sort of leadership coup.

I’ve had it with The Crying Man and Can’tor.

Seems like our only chance of getting rid of this monstrosity is the USSC.

Don’t waste your money Pence, your going to need it for a re-election campaign which you will lose unless you strighten up and fast.

Dear God, no one passes the litmus test in the GOP as a true conservative. They’re all RINOs, and that’s why zero will probably get re-elected in 2012.

God help us!

Time for the GOP to go. We need an opposition party to the international socialists.

No surprise here. What nobody in the GOP leadership will ever admit is that -- despite all the clamoring in 2010 and the one-sided votes in Congress for ObamaCare -- both major parties are fully on board with most of its provisions.

I agree and that message needs to be delivered to Pence and the rest of the gutless RINOs in Nov. 2012!

It’s simple, ONCE and ONLY ONCE a Republican is exposed as a RINO, they’re gone. PERIOD!!!!

Allen West isn't a birther. How do you think that flies on FR? Allen West!

Pence is a fine congressman. So's West. No pure enough for some.

The Left is framing the view the GOP is looking through, and I fear the idiots are succumbing to the influence of the Left’s agenda.

That’s certainly a possibility, but Pence is very strong here.
I have little doubt he’ll be Gov in Indiana in Jan 013 and I’ll be voting for him.

Mitch Daniels ended 16 years of rule by the Evan Bayh gang and then fostered Republican majorities in the Indiana state House and Senate. Mitch gets little love on FR but he’s done a great job here in Indiana. Mike Pence will be a fine replacement.
