There has actually been a lot of info posted on NBC and the 14th Amendment applied to slaves. Also commons sense tells us that the Founders would not have allowed the child of a foreigner in a position of power. The left is doing a good job of obscuring facts but not good enough.
Bunk. The 14th was about slaves. All one has to do is read the remarks made at the time it was passed. And Vatels Law of Nations. The office of President and VP are the ONLY ones where NBC is demanded. That alone indicates the highest criteria, two citizen parents.
That has been the whole purpose of the Birth Certificate and the irrational mockery of ‘birthers’.

Yes. It is. The left has changed history, or rewritten it, and hidden info. Some time ago I had found online a website that had notes from the Founders discussing the need for the President NOT to have dual citizenship and loyalties. Yup. They discussed it. And yup, it’s no longer on the net.

There is no Constitutional requirement for "running" for office. In fact, even resident alien green card holder's who are felon's can "run" for office.
Of course, none but a "natural born Citizen" may actually "be" President (or VP).
And then, there's lot's of debate as to why a Secretary of State would even allow such a non eligible candidate to even be on the ballot in the first place.
That's not so. It is a duty of an educated citizen to be a passable scholar of the Constitution. Those professionals who claim some unquestionable expertise are most often found to have radical misconceptions of what the Founders meant. The Founders wee good men, they were educated men, they would I am certain have despised the the whole concept of an unquestionable expert on the Constitution where that expert claimed to know or understand things an otherwise educated man could not.

Yet the courts have said otherwise. You and I can agree on it but the language is not clear enough that an ACLU attorney and a liberal judge can comprehend it. Thus the need for amendment or repeal. If, as you say, it only applied to slaves then repeal should be just fine as slavery is illegal anymore.
If it wasn't straight forward then the Constitution would be useless. It is clearly understandable. The left and their "scholars" try to obscure it as they destroy it.

The liberal courts have misused it as has the left. Commies don’t care about truth. What was said at the time about the 14th is still online until the left gets wise and removes it. Repealing it is useless and won’t happen. What it needs is the light of truth.
