Dry Run or Wrong Turn? 3 Mid-East Men Try to Enter Calif. Marine Base

Was it just a wrong turn, or something more sinister?

Marine base Camp Pendleton — one of the largest military bases in the country — is reportedly on high alert after three Middle Eastern men tried to enter the base last weekend on multiple occasions in multiple vehicles. And while the men initially claimed they didn’t know each other and simply took a wrong turn, new information from a local gas station about “hateful comments” and “terrorist threats” casts doubt on their story:

KGTV explains some of the shocking details:

According to a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert issued to high-ranking Camp Pendleton officials, someone reported hearing hateful comments and terrorist threats from three men at a gas station in Oceanside Saturday.

Investigators at Camp Pendleton said the men asked the attendant for directions on how to get to Camp Pendleton before they left the gas station.

According to the alert, shortly after midnight Sunday, a rented silver Toyota Corolla driven by Naeem attempted to enter Camp Pendleton through the main gate. As it was being searched, Petrossian and Avanosian drove up in a black Mercedes, but were told to wait. Instead, they continued past the gate and onto the base. Following a short pursuit, the Mercedes was stopped and searched.

No weapons or contraband were found in the Mercedes, but base security noticed the air bag in the steering wheel of the Mercedes had been pulled out and re-attached with duct tape and had wires hanging free, the alert said.

He is one of them. Why would he care? He is doing more damage to this beloved country of mine than the terrorists themselves. Dirtbag.

In order to get on the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA, you have to go through two guard gates. They pull over about one in twenty five just for further inspection.
It drives our tech reps nuts when they get held up to go fix a copier or fax.

Perhaps then it would be a quasi kinetic military mishap?

Lots of mooselimbs in OC. UCI has a huge jihadist population.

Or they may have come up via the border.

A wrong turn three different times in three different vehicles. Sure thing.

Same here. The gate guards check everyone’s ID, but only check a number of vehicles. We know most of the guards and they wave us through.

All commercial vehicles have their loads inspected to some extent. They check the cargo area and see if it matches the invoices or shipping documents.

Might have been mortars. I heard that it was supposed to be sometime around early 1970 but that is anyone’s guess, even whether it is true or not. You’re right about 29 Stumps; most of the practice was there. I spent time at Barstow (supply center) and had some buddies stationed at 29 Palms.

Why in the world is it “easy” to get on a military base!? When I was a kid, no sticker, and/or no military ID = no entry. Shakes head...

I guess you missed all the incidents in the past 10 years where illegal aliens have been found to be wandering around on U.S. military bases..including restricted nuclear submarine areas..

Oh, and I guess you missed the incident when it was discovered Bush's Homeland Security Chief had people who had entered the country illegally wandering around the inside of his private residence. During war time.

Based on my experience throughout my military career I would guess that they probably went looking for any “left hands” that might have been out there.

No sure why they were let go. Probably didn’t find enough to arrest. Which is highly dumb. I wish they would have arrested them.

He would be doing nothing differently. Period.

Tinfoil jokes aside, I believe we are being set up. Yes, bambi is doing nothing different at all. We believe and count on, the constitution, our basic right of freedom.

An elderly Jew was once asked "why did you get on the train?" He answered "It was just one more thing to do".

We are being led to believe the usurper is impotent. While his ilk understands that the best way to control "the people" is through fear.

If the government did not want us to know the happenings at the gate of Camp Pendleton, we would not know it. But, we are simply fed the information that best serves the powers that be.

So, conservative forums and blogs can opine all they want about this or that - they may believe the government isn't watching, isn't taking notes.

I think they are.

Yeah... Let me guess, they thought it was the gate for Disneyland... If they didn’t lock ‘em up someone had better be tracking them.
