Yes, it’s funny that they think it’s OK to burn Bibles, but not the Koran.

The worst would be if this is a ploy to deprive us of rights. At best, it is proof that neither of them belong in a position of responsibility.

Finally, Lindsay Graham has blatantly lied. He said that rights should be curtailed because we are at “war.”

We all know that Congress has not yet declared war.

“NRO: But don’t you understand the concerns about a U.S. senator determining the limits of free speech?

GRAHAM: Not really.”

This is the voice of tyranny.

NRO: But don’t you understand the concerns about a U.S. senator determining the limits of free speech?

GRAHAM: Not really. Nobody said anything to me when I said that you can’t burn the flag. People say that is free speech, but I don’t agree.

So, two forms of free speech aren't free speech according to this retard.

General Petraeus sent a statement out to all news organizations yesterday, urging our government to ban Koran burning.

If the good general does not wish to defend our way of life, he needs to file his retirement papers and find another line of work.

“Lindsey is completely incoherent here.”

I agree. He made no sense as he twisted himself into a pretzel, equivocating and trying to defend his position.

I guess it’s a nuanced, elitist, politician, lawerly thing that we just wouldn’t understand.

While Petraeus issued a condemnation (that I think was wrong in itself), I think we need confirmation that General Petraeus actually called for a government ban on Koran burning.

I won’t be surprised to learn that Graham “misspoke.”

Is this interview for real or is it a leftover April Fools joke? Unbelievable...

The article now reads:

GRAHAM: General Petraeus sent a statement out to all news organizations yesterday, urging our government to [condemn] Koran burning.

Thanks, Senator, for making Mark Steyn’s points for him. You ARE unfit for public office.

I have lost any respect for the man. NOt only for attempting to restrict free speech in the USA to appease the muslim fanatics.

But worse, for "going native" to the extent that it's now policy for female troops in Afghanistan to wear the muslim head scarf, instead of the kevlar helmet.

I hereby pledge $100 to his primary opponent in 2014. What an embarrassment he is.

How interesting that 2 of the UN Aid workers slaughtered by these savages were female and our “news” media does not consider that fact worthy of inclusion in most of its reporting.

Either Graham is a queer AND a liar or Patraeus has some ‘splainin’ to do. How about you ban the burning of the flag of the United States first?

Graham got it backwards in Ww2 Graham would have been accused of treason for aiding the enemy by making statements that we cant offend the people we are at war with.

If Graham was a senator during ww2 he would have claimed that burning mein kampf should be banned because it might offend the nazis

What are the odds of a successful challenge for his seat from a right thinking Republican? I am getting sick and tired of the Statists in government. Flags and books can be replaced. Rights - only some of which are enumerated - were earned by the blood of our patriots and a few 100 elected fools shouldn’t even think they have the right to take them away.
