Anti-Zionists at Brandeis have taken their turn at trying to silence free speech, one year after California students silenced Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren. This time, Kadima Knesset Member Avi Dichter was their target and was called a “war criminal.”
Members of Brandeis University’s Students for Justice in Palestine (BSJP) boisterously halted a university panel discussion of six visiting members of the Israeli Knesset Monday evening, shouting for the arrest of “war criminals." Security personnel peacefully escorted them out of the hall.
Approximately a dozen students accused Dichter, former head of the Israel Security Agency, of torture and being responsible for the bombing of civilians. They tried to distribute arrest warrants before being led away.

Isn’t Brandeis a traditionally Jewish college?
Brandeis is about as Jewish as Notre Dame is Catholic. Only it’s been going on a lot longer there, unfortunately.
Depends on what traditions we are talking about.
In this case, it is more like the traditions of Korach.
Being jewish and hating Israel seems to be the “in thing” amongst American lefties.

Precisely, Tintin. Or more precisely, Brandeis is a college for Jooos! and they must prove themselves as part of their reeducation.
They ought to rename it to “Kapo University.”

I got that part. I was being charitable asking about the reference though and giving you a chance to pull your head in, if it were as it seems now, required. Does it seem to you so far out of line to ask? If I remember, Brandeis was a Supreme Court judge for the entire United States of America, not just Jewish Americans, wasn’t he? It seems reasonable to me to ask if the college is traditionally Jewish or not since it’s surprising to hear of this happening there if so.
These students sound like candidates to be the next Rachel Corrie.
Like many colleges, it’s left-wing, the de facto religion of many Jews, especially Brandeis alumni. So there’s no contradiction, unfortunately.
